Can anyone translate “gobby” and “marching powder” for the yanks?
The “naughty girl” made me think of Samantha Fox (Naughty Girls Need Love Too).
gob is mouth so gobby would be mouthy, cant think of anyone tho

Never mind. It’s obviously Allen. These pics were in Friday’s paper. They picture her being dragged away from an awards bash. Also, her second albumn’s working title was: “Stuck on the Naughty Step”.

When I think star with the biggest mouth, I immediately think of Janice Dickenson. Her using “marching powder” is not a far stretch. I can’t think of Lily Allen or Kate Moss having a big mouth but maybe I just dont pay attention.

for some reason, i’m thinking “goobby girl” means “gossip girl” and “what a naughty girl” is in reference to “good girls go bad”….leighton anyone???

^^ There’s no way it’s Leighton, as it’s a British tabloid. The girls who write those stories usually do them from the celebrity bash they went to the night before, which in this case is the awards show Lily was pictured at.
