BlindGossip – This actor has strange taste in home décor. While all the houses in his neighborhood were painted in pretty pale pastel colors, he painted his house a dark, scary color. He received so much flack from neighbors that he repainted it in pastels less than a year later. Inside the house isn’t much better. He has sort of a comic book theme going on in several rooms of the house, complete with pictures of Superman, Batman and The Green Hornet. He’s been married more than once, probably because there aren’t many adult women who would enjoy having their home look like it was decorated by a 12-year-old boy.

Yup. He named his kid Kal-El, Superman’s real name. He was married to Lisa Marie Presley and Patricia Arquette. He loves comics and once rumored to play Superman.
Don’t forget…he starred in that horrible comic-book based movie about the guy on the motorcycle with the chain he used like a whip. Nic Cage is, what, about 50 years old? FAR too old to be playing a comic book superhero.

Dunno… most neighborhoods in So Cal have requirements that your house not be painted anything other than “earth-toned”, some of which can be mistaken for “pretty pastel colors”.

I lived in Bermuda and ALL of the houses were painted pretty pastel colors and it was beautiful. That said…it is Bermuda…can’t imagine my neighborhood colored that way!
It could well be Nicholas Cage. He owns a few properties in historical districs in New Orleans. They are VERY picky about what you do to the homes within them- Most of the homes are white or lighter in color. Of course he’s defaulting on at least two of the properties.

OMG – My house has a kind-a comic thing going on in the interior decor. (Blush) No superhero pics, but several pieces of original art that are within the comic book color scheme and style. So what if women are turned off. The stuff is awesome and makes me happy, and that’s all that is important. My exterior is beige and olive, but the inside is comic glory!
Not Nic Cage, he has a home near me that he recently listed for sale, the pictures online show all the rooms and its very nicely decorated. even his son’s room is not over the top
