BlindGossip – Which actress’ weight problem temporarily brought shooting to a halt? She’s had issues with weight fluctuation before, and had committed to a lower weight this season. We don’t know what she did to bring her weight down, but everything looked OK until a scene came up where she had to work in a rather compromising and unforgiving position. She had clearly put on a few pounds and they were all in her hips and thighs. The director tried to be accommodating, but couldn’t find an angle that worked, so they had to rewrite the scene in a way that only her upper body showed. She was hugely embarrassed, but saved her tears for a run to her trailer at the end of the scene. There are whispers that some stress with her boyfriend is causing the weight gain.

Didn’t Amy Adams have some sort of bulimia problem. I guess her problem was that she got to good with the binging but the purging…. eh not so much.

Jennifer is absolutely beautiful. I don’t get the critism.
I know you’ve heard it before but it really is true the camera adds 10 pounds, so what looks fine in person looks not so hot on film. It’s just a fact. If she’s gained even a little then on film she will look like she’s gained a bunch. Sad but true. The director did her a kindness rewriting the scene to avoid her the public scrutiny.
Well considering she lied and claimed to be a size two. Then she said that she loved her body but went and lost a bunch of weight. Now she seems to have gained it back but thinks that she hasn’t. Esp considering she was playing tennis in a bikini in heels she kind of asks for it.

She doesn’t look bad in the side photo but the from behind photo makes her butt look enormous. It’s Slimfast time.
Allow me to wax realistic for just a moment. Even if we don’t gain weight as we age, we change. The downside of becoming famous as handlers photoshop your body for publicity shots, the changes become glaringly obvious in the “candid” shots peddled by the photogs of the famous at their worst.
Is it unfair? Not really. Is it fair? Life isn’t fair, that’s why they make bras & jock straps in different sizes…
Couldn’t they use a body double in some scenes?
I feel SO sorry for Hollywood women. I may be a plain old chubby housewife clipping coupons, but I’m not driven to achieve ‘perfection’ 24/7. I say JLH, too.
Well, don’t. They earn millions of dollars a year for keeping the weight down. And nowadays they’re not even required to be as anorexic as they were a few years ago. (fortunately)

I’m leaning towards Jennifer Love-Hewitt bandwagon, as well. She definitely has fluctuated in her weight. She carries most of her weight gain, in her thighs and legs, as her unfortunate photos has shown. As others commented, whispers, could be a clue for Ghost Whisperer. Lastly, rumors are rampant that Jaime Kennedy is still hung up on his ex-girlfriend, ex-assistant to Britney Spears, Shannon Funk. I think Jennifer Love-Hewitt needs to build up her self esteem and kick Jaime Kennedy to the curb. Another suggestion, find a nice guy off the set!!!!!!!!!

JLH is beautiful, and she has her good days and bad days. Her weight fluctuates a lot because she’s petite. Adding/losing 10 pounds isn’t a lot if your 5′10, but if you’re 5′2?

Guys, Jennifer is a full producer on Ghost Whisperer. She calls the shots. That’s how her weight was able to creep up a couple years ago…no one can say boo to her.

The blind reads the actress “committed to a lower weight this season.” This reads as if she was bothered by her weight issue. The wardrobe department from the Ghost Whisperer works overtime to dress Jennifer Love Hewitt in figure flattering styles which are often dressier than the scene requires in the hopes of camouflaging and detracting from her own weight insecurities. Jennifer Love Hewitt is a beautiful actress. She should embrace that but I that is difficult to do when everyone, including the media, points out her flaws.

So thats why she gets to dress so inappropriatly for the character. I couldn’t figure out why they would let her dress however she wanted even if it seemed silly for the character.

I agree, JLH doesn’t do love scenes on Ghost Whisperer. It’s not that kind of show at all, and this year she and Sam have a young kid who is the focus of the story. Plus she’s a full producer on the show and has directed two episodes herself. Not exactly the powerless woman described above.
Patricia Arquette is married, and like JLH a full producer on her show.
I really liked Ashlee Simpson for this item after her love scene with Michael on Melrose Place last week. She’s a redhead and not in a power position on Melrose…but unfortunately is married.

Well JLH has the ultimate womans figure. Curves in all the right places. I think body wise, this is the figure girls should admire (not like that stick figure, skeletor type posh spice). Obviously her weight fluctuates, proving she is too human like the rest of us, and she’s not ashamed to show it off!! You go girl!!
