BlindGossip – This entertainer was a presenter at the Emmy Awards. Nice person, very talented, slightly drunk. They didn’t weave on stage or slur their words, but they did down three alcoholic drinks just before going on stage. Their co-presenter saw this go down and responded “Oh, s*” when told by a stage hand that they should be prepared to handle all the dialogue solo.

Well, if it had been ME, I might have swallowed ONE small drink directly before stepping onstage. It’s not like I’d be out there that long, or doing something that requires fine motor skills, LOL. As to who? Could be any of ‘em. If they aren’t seen drinking alcohol, they’re gulping down “prescription medication” beforehand.

No, he’s always like that, it’s got nothing to do with alcohol. And he always presents solo, with a lot of room for adlib.
Ricky Gervais was my first thought, but he presented alone. The Blind says he had a co-presenter.
there were 2 presenters who came out and i cant remember exactly who it was or wat they were presenting…but it was some lady and she kept lookin at her co-presenter and then would carry on reading the teleprompter…i think the other presenter only read the name from the envelope…ugh, does anyone know/remember this ?! it was kinda awkward moment…

The only name that has a connection to one of the words used in the blind is Sigourney Weaver (weave on stage). Too obvious? I didn’t watch the whole thing so I don’t know who she was on stage with, but it’s just an idea.

Tracy Morgan presented alone, so it’s not him. My money is on Patricia Arquette.
Aarghh! Forgot about that… Arquette it is. I felt so bad for JLH, she was totally left out there hanging on the comedy of that bit.
Blake Lively. The dress was great, her presentation embarrassing to watch.
I distinctly remember someone with a co-presenter was slurring just slightly–my (former) bartender-radar went off—-but I can’t remember who it was. It was a guy as I remember, but of course a lot of the celebrities might have been drunk.
Patricia Arquette spoke as much as Jennifer Love Hewitt.
I remember Micheal J. Fox didn’t read his lines and his co-presenter had to read them, but that’s probably due to his condition.
MJF did read, its on of the few I actually saw so I know he read.
MJF did read his lines, in fact he cued his co-presenter (can’t remember who it was other than an older lady) when she didn’t say hers.

Sigourney isn’t the only “weave” connection. Patricia Arquette’s grandfather was Cliff Arquette who’s character was Charlie Weaver on Jack Parr and Hollywood Squares.

The presenters that seemed a little off to me, were three cast members of The Big Bang Theory: Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki.
But it was a brief occurrence.
