BlindGossip – This popular actor was not with his wife at the Emmy Awards last night. They had a big fight over wardrobe earlier in the evening. He though it would be really funny to wear something other than tuxedo, but she didn’t want to look like a fool sitting next to him. He relented and dressed properly for the event, but there was such tension between them that he wound up going alone. The fights are definitely coming more frequently for this couple. We can only imagine how many more there would be if she knew about his private lunches with one of his co-stars.

Charlie Sheen’s wife was no where to be found was she? I didn’t see her… although… I didn’t look to hard either. I would’ve just assumed she was home with the babies.

he’s not married and he’s been dating the woman that sat next to him for a long time–i can’t remember her name, I think she’s a broadway actress.

It has to be Sheen. He’s crazy enough to wear what-ever to the Emmy’s. Everyone else is accounted for.
There are pics of him on the red carpet with his wife. He was my first guess, too, though.

Not Simon Baker, Randy Jackson, Jon Cryer, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carrell, Ricky Gervais, Kevin Bacon (apparently) – all arrived with wives. Rob Lowe showed up with kids.

David Boreanaz, Bill Paxton, Mario Lopez, Bryan Cranston (??), Gabrial Byrnw – you see already from this list that it screams David Boreanaz. To me at least.
Not Gabriel Byrne – he just wouldn’t wear something idiotic to the Emmys, plus he’s not married.
His wife gave birth about 3 weeks ago, which seems like a pretty good excuse not to go. But of course that doesn’t mean it’s not him.
I also can’t see David Boreanaz wanting to wear something non-traditional to the Emmys…I mean, the man fills out a tux well!
I can’t find it on the net, but I distinctly remember him wearing this horrendous outfit that involved a purple velvet jacket and (I think) a cane. I keep trying to find out, but everything just keeps coming up with luscious pictures of him. Not that I’m complaining.

David Boreanaz– wife just had a baby a week ago. Probably the reason she was not there. They seem to be happy.
Would be a reason for the lunches with co-worker however.

Rob Lowe seems like a good candidate for this… There is no real reason why his wife wasn’t there.. he is very well liked by the public (everyone seemed to take his side in the whole nannygate)..his wife seems like kindof an awful person! Maybe he has been lunching with co-star Emily Vancamp? She broke up with her bf last year…
David Boreanaz has a legit excuse for his wife not being there.. but.. He does like to dress funny for attention..his goofy socks in Bones are something he does in real life as well..and he and Emily Deschanel lunching wouldn’t be that hard to believe.
I can’t see Rob Lowe going for funky clothing though. He works to be seen as someone “classy”. I could see him cheating, just not dressing weird, lol!
Goofy socks are not a huge cry for attention. The guy who plays Dr. Reid on Criminal Minds also does it. Surely not worth a fight so big that your wife would rather stay home from an award show! He’s known as a nice guy. Doesn’t seem the type to get his cheat on at work and risk loosing wife and kids over.

Hugh Laurie is very conservative in real life – hardly the type to wear something funky to an awards show.
And maybe his wife moved here from the Uk… oh, I don’t know… because she loves him and wants to be near him? Just a thought.
Didn’t he say in an interview that he and his wife agreed to move the family to the states when he was certain that his job in house was stable? He was unsure for the longest time on the fate of house (insecurity and doubt I suppose even if the show is awesome) so he put off moving the family to the states.
I think another reason was their children – one or more completing a stage of education before relocating. Maybe secondary (high) school, I’m not sure.
