CDAN – This married A list female singer has a very funny way of working. For example, when she is scheduled to shoot a music video she shows up at one time of day and one time of day only. If the director schedules a 7am shoot, that is great, but our singer is not going to show up until 11. No, not 11am. That would only be four hours late. Nope, our singer only shoots videos at 11pm. No one knows if it is her playing diva or because she can’t get going until that time of night. No one wants to work on her videos anymore unless they are paid the very top rate available plus overtime due to all the down time and waiting and waiting. Because of the diva attitude, her videos cost an extra $25,000-30,000 a day to shoot than they would if she showed on time.

very very good catch on the deja vu. i thought beyonce right away, but that clue totally points it out.
TisTime that’s a brilliant observation. But Beyonce has a lot of outdoor videos these days. Deja Vu with the dress spinning and running through nature, Beginning of ego (parking lot shot), her new one on the beach with the model guy in white, etc. You can make day look like night when filming but not the reverse. For this reason it may be someone else!
Clearly– Yeah, but depending on the location and the season… if you don’t even arrive to work until 11pm, dawn can creep up on you soon enough. Maybe those day shoots are very early in the morning?

I think this is Mariah too. I heard something about her being some vampire like person who sleeps all day and works at night. I think that she exercises at night too.

I think it might be Christina Aguilera… I watched a “Making of” for one of her videos and she always showed up to the shoot late in the evening (7P or later) and then they would shoot into the morning. However, she isn’t very recent, so not sure of her A-list status, etc…

Mariah, dear. Queen of the Hottest Hotties. I am a night person too. I am more than willing to support you 100% on this one — provided the unusual working hours are agreed upon beforehand and those nice, hardworking people are paid all the extras they deserve.
Now, if you schedule shooting in the morning and won’t show up until dawn, then someone ought to give you one swift kick in the butt with steel-tipped army boots. Which is the case here? Please tell me that Your Awesomeness is doing the right thing. That will make me feel a lot better.
