It would certainly make sense, given the post-apocalyptic world depicted in the movie. But, if I’m remembering it right, there were flashback scenes where her refusal to shave might have thrown a wrench in the costuming.
Pretty sure Jessica Alba doesn’t shave much, but not sure which movie she might have lost out on.
