[Blind Gossip] The cat’s out of the bag! These two hot young actors are dating!
Well, not really. They are just going to conveniently sneak in this publicity stunt five minutes before their new film premieres!
It’s a good P.R. play for both of them. They are both young, attractive, and they want this movie to be a blockbuster so it can become a franchise. They do like each other as friends, so it’s not much of a stretch for them to play along with this. It’s not like they are going to suck face in public for the cameras. It will be subtle. His real girlfriend will stand down for a little while. No big deal.
Our actress did another P.R. relationship with a tall white actor a few years ago, so this isn’t new for her.

[Optional] Would they make a good couple in real life?
Actor: Michael B. Jordan
Actress: Lupita Nyong’o
Their Film: Black Panther
Blind Gossip told you a couple of weeks ago that they were going to set up two actors from Black Panther in a publicity stunt.
Sure enough, two of the the film’s stars – Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B Jordan – are now rumored to be in a possible romance!
They are actually not. But it is fun to think about!
This faux relationship was set up at the last minute to quash any negative publicity leading into the film. Specifically, there was a rumor circulating that Michael B. Jordan didn’t like dating black women.
Is Black Twitter boycotting ‘Black Panther’ because Michael B. Jordan isn’t dating a black woman?
Many are anticipating the Feb. 18 release of Marvel’s “Black Panther.” However, people are losing it on social media, after many tweeps began accusing black women of boycotting the movie because of actor Michael B. Jordan’s alleged girlfriend.
The star was recently spotted with someone suspected to be his girlfriend. When pictures of the duo hit the internet, many were reportedly outraged that the woman pictured was not black and threatened to boycott his upcoming movie
In November, Jordan shared the biggest rumor he’d heard about himself. He said it was “that I don’t date black women.”
Despite disputing that rumor, several were quick to share their thoughts about the 30-year-old’s personal life. A few criticized him and other black actors for not dating within their race.
Black Panther is a black-centric film. You can’t have Black Twitter mad at you and threatening a boycott over one actor’s non-black girlfriend!
That’s why you saw a sudden counter of that narrative. Specifically, “Michael B. Jordan isn’t technically dating anyone.”
And: “Michael B. Jordan still lives with his parents.”
And: “Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyongo are possibly dating!”
Bingo! Of course, every publication in the country jumped right on board to discuss a possible romance between the two hot young costars of the hottest film in the country!
