Comedian Kathy Griffin – who never shies away from controversy – sent out a tweet that seems to indicate that she knows of someone else who has been involved in similar wrongdoing.

She sent out a tweet that read: “Well well well #StephenCollins, looks like u may have finally gotten urself busted after all these years. Jack M, ur next? KG”

  5. To even tweet that was ridiculous. At best, that means shes privy to information about the violation of children’s rights in the Hollywood scene. Thanks for letting us know or think that, Kathy. Continue to poke fun at Lindsay Lohan while sitting on legitimately traumatizing stuff like this (and bragging about it).

    It could be anyone in Hollywood with the first name Jack and the middle initial M to anyone with the first name Jack and a last name that begins with M to really anything. Any combination of J and M.

  8. It’s common knowledge that Hollywood is infested with pedophiles. They work at the big networks and are in charge at Disney, Nickelodeon with unfettered access to children. The saddest part is that parents are aware but they got to feed the family right. Jack M could be John somebody. If she has information that Jack M is committing acts of pedophilia, she is no better than him for not alerting the authorities. So watch out KG, Stephen Collins’s wife is not looking so good herself.

    • The sad truth is that the WORLD is infested with pedophiles. They are in Hollywood, yes, but they are also in small town America and everywhere in between. They insert themselves into industries where they have access to children. It isn’t just Hollywood, it could be a little league team, a tutor, a priest, a teacher, etc.

    • Same. Remember, what Roman Polanski did, happened at Jack Nicholson’s house. He’s also rumored to have had a relationship with Drew Barrymore when she was underage, if I remember correctly. The fact that he has several psychopathic traits, doesn’t really help all that much either.

    i figure it’s a man, between 45 and 65. gee that narrows it right down. jack might be short for Jonathan – given kathy’s age and the target age of 45-65, that’s a qualified guess. M could be a middle initial, but given kathy’s wit, it could also stand for a descriptor she has assigned him ( like Money bags, or Molester.) so my lack of a complete guess is a John/Jon she has worked with in the past. maybe around the suddenly susan time. that was a ‘playing by the rules’ time for her, and a time she would likely be paying attention as well as playing along. … all this fun mental blind gymnastics yet i have no guess.

But Hollyweird doesnt seem to operate on ‘normal’ codes and ethics, everything is always covered up and kept hush hush.

It’s one thing to keep mum about things that aren’t your business — what kicks people get up to in their own home is their thing — but child molesters need to be called out! They’re committing heinous crimes that scar kids for life. I love KG and this makes me admire her more.

Then again… I don’t know anything about him, but I hate to see any names dragged into this without being sure. Imagine if this is not about him and people just assume it is!     Today I read that he told his then pregnant wife that he hoped they didn’t have a boy because he “didn’t know if he could keep the child’s tiny little penis out of his mouth”
    That’s horribly revolting. BUT HIS WIFE STAYED WITH HIM AND HAD ANOTHER CHILD WITH HIM!!! They both belong in prison. He’s a child molester and she should be charged with child endangerment.

He confessed to molesting 3 girls under the age of 14. One was a relative of his first wife on occasions when she was 11, 12 and 13.

    Just look at how they’re going after Stephen Collins wife now, blaming her as if she’s the one who molested children. She went to the police in 2012 when she found out.   68. I read an article recently that touched on her being abused by a friend of her brothers when she was little. She also doesn’t talk to the same brother because she suspects he’s a pedophile. Doesn’t everyone realize that there is a difference between second hand knowledge and/or gossip/rumors than being an actual witness or victim. Like there is one guy me and friends know and its fairly common knowledge he has violent episodes and beats up his GFs. Problem is that none of us has actually witnessed it. None of can press any charges. All we have is hearsay and circumstantial evidence.

  73. I have no guess about this but for all the people wondering why she hasn’t gone to the police, I can’t imagine that she hasn’t. Her oldest brother was a pedophile and she cut him out of her life and fought with her family about it for years. It isn’t something she takes lightly. God knows what she was thinking when she wrote that tweet because it is weird, but there’s no way that she’s just sitting on her hands if she knows something about someone.

  74. I have to defend Kathy here because some of the comments are really uncalled for. Kathy’s brother is a pedophile and she went to the police to turn him in, but without concrete proof or a victim coming forward the police could do and did nothing. She wrote about this in her book. This is something she feels strongly about so I seriously doubt it’s a joke or a call for attention. I’m positive she would scream this person’s name from every rooftop but without proof she would just be sued to high heaven. The scandal of that would overshadow the actual crime. We can only hope a victim will be inspired to come forward and reveal this “Jack M.” She’s not a b*tch, she truly cares, but there is really only so much she can do.

  76. If she is aware of a known pedophile, she should alert the authorities and not allow other people to be falsely accused as the result of her tweet. Her tweet is going to garner a lot of guesses and they aren’t all going to be correct, but the rumor mills may falsely guess someone who is not guilty of this hideous crime yet they may be unjustly labeled as a pedophile despite this fact.

    If Kathy knows about someone who molests precious children and jokes about it but doesn’t disclose information to the police, then that tells you what type of moral compass Ms. Griffin possesses.

    If this is a tweet made out of spite, then she should be held accountable for those actions.

    Going to the police and documenting child molestation with an official statement when true is the only way to bring pedophiles to justice. Look at how many people remained silent about Jerry Sanduskey when they had personally witnessed him in situations which left no doubt about what he was doing? You don’t just go to another coach or a university official, or a movie studio or agent, etc. you go directly to the police at point one – they are the ones who can actually begin an investigation and get professionals involved who are experienced in speaking with victims of sexual abuse without allowing the chance of a total cover-up by enablers who don’t want anyone to know.

    • Totally agree. If you know someone is molesting children, you report it to the police. Maybe nothing can’t be done until the pervert gets reported by a victim, but it still the least you can do to protect innocent lives.

  77. Maybe she really wants people to know who it is and used Twitter to smoke them out. You need solid proof or a corroborating witness(or an actual victim) to file a police report, otherwise the cops wont even bother investigating the allegations of child abuse. Perhaps by calling out this Jack M., she’s trying to nudge actual victims into bringing him to justice. Just my additional two cents.

  79. If you listen to Marc Maron’s podcast, she had a deep discussion about pedophilia and her feelings. I don’t think Jack M has to be a celebrity. It can be someone she has heard about or known about in her past. Although I agree that the authorities should be alerted immediately, this may be something someone told her or she heard about. She may not have proof and/or the person could be an adult friend who told her this in confidence. All these could not involve her. Also, maybe she HAS alerted the authorities, but has no taped recording as evidence or any past victims of Jack M. For all we know, the authorities have looked into it and can’t prove anything so she has decided to take the next step and make him nervous.

  80. I agree with everyone who is saying that she should contact authorities. However, keep in mind that people who do contact authorities are ignored or the Hollywood machine shuts them down to protect their interests, financial and legal. Fast.

    Hollywood has shown they don’t care. Polanski, who drugged and boozed a 13 year old girl and performed multiple vile acts of sexual assault and chose to flee instead of take his punishment, was awarded an Oscar recently. Tells you everything you need to know.

    Look at what happened to the guy who accused Bryan Singer and his buddies of pedophilia. It was fast and ugly. Have you heard a thing about it since? No.

    Corey Feldman reported his abuser to authorities. They ignored it. How can Nickelodeon and Disney not know about the very loud rumors of very specific people? Yet nothing.

    So- perhaps she is going the public shaming route, trying to get authorities to act by making it impossible to ignore. I don”t know, of course, I just wonder. I really really hope that the FBI is able to prosecute this group of sickos as a ring, thus making it a bigger case and casting a very wide net.

  87. it is pretty common knowledge that this stuff goes on. It doesn’t mean Kathy actually witnessed it, but she has probably heard the stories, as have most people here in Hollywood. One of the reasons so many child stars end up messed up drug addicts who act out is because of them being either pimped out by their parents to land a job. Many stage mothers and fathers will turn the other way as long as they get their payday off their kid. So for Kathy to make that comment does not mean she was there in the room and saw something, but knows of the abuse that goes on in the Hollywood system. I would not throw rocks at her for saying it.
