    Awww – more details!

So looking at the producers list – maybe Anthony Katagas? for 12 yrs a slave

  2. JenJenJen says

It has to be someone who hasn’t been nominated before so I’m going with Steve Coogan and Philomena. He’s really good as a comedian but for a while he tried too hard to be a movie star and failed badly.

  3. everythingthatshines says

Spike Jonze and her? I was watching jackass 3.5 a couple weeks ago and he’s one of the producers for that so i was surprised

  4. grapejelly says

    Robbie Brenner
    Dallas Buyers Club

Producer of the classic movies 21 & Over, Machine Gun Preacher and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. I would be surprised too!

  5. MissNormaDesmond says

I might have guessed Steve Coogan (producing nomination for “Philomena”) but I don’t think of him as *a* producer.

Megan Ellison and Michael De Luca have produced multiple quality films (mixed in with some chaff).

Riza Aziz was just determined not eligible for a producer nomination for “The Wolf of Wall Street” but I don’t see much else in his filmography to indicate this is him.

  6. KWDragon says

    Producer: David Heyman

    Film: Gravity

I am just thinking of I Am Legend, and while I love the Harry Potter films, they are not highbrow, cinematic masterpieces. Maybe he isn’t proud of all of his work. Also, the quote seems like a rather British thing to say.

  7. allmyfriendsaredead says

Harvey Weinstein was just on Howard Stern and Weinstein said he’s done a lot of bad films and choices.

  8. ToadKisser says

HAS to be Spike Jonze, referring to the Jacka$$ movies. He won’t win, but how funny would it be if he did! Lol

  9. danneka says

ok i guess leo dicaprio b c he got nominated for wolf of wall street but snubbed by the pgas. big question is if he won for wows getting big picture but he lost for best actor would he be satisfied winning an oscar but not for acting!? lol

  10. Fergus says

Most of the movies that come out these days are garbage, so we have a pretty wide field to choose from.

  11. chapati says

I don’t think Brad Pitt would say that, because, even if he has produced loads of garbage (and, has he? I haven’t looked it up), all is forgiven for producing 12 Years a Slave, and Mcqueen has said that movie wouldn’t have got made were it not for the Bradster, so I think Brad would be too proud of that to talk about rubbish he has produced.

    Spike Jonze, I go with.
