BlindGossip – Which Oscar-nominated actress let loose a string of obscenities at one of the Academy Awards after parties? She looked gorgeous in her long gown, and simply glowed the entire evening. However, the party was crowded, and a famous actor accidentally stepped on the train of her gown. She let out a little shriek, and the man sheepishly apologized and moved his foot. Instead of reacting graciously to the error, our normally well-behaved actress tugged her train towards her and swore loudly enough for several people to hear.

I love Marisa Tomei and her dress was absolutely gorgeous, but the train was definiately long and looked like it would be a pain in the ass to wear. I don’t recall any of the other nominees wearing a train like that.

glowing is a clue – possibly pregnant. Since Reese is rumored to be pregnant and her physique only exacerbated the possibility, I am going with her.

Could it be sweet innocent Annie Hathaway? I mean, she’s been said to be very nice. I don’t think Meryl, since ALL the other actors and actresses seemed to be all over her at the Vanity Fair party (and I doubt anyone would get that close to an actress after she’s snapped)

People, people, I believe the woman is Sophia Loren, and the gown stepper on her is non other than Oscar nominated actor, Mickey Rouke. I don’t think she had a clue who he was, and further more, she didn’t care.
I don’t think so – they showed that exchange on TV – it happened on the red carpet, not an after party, and when he said sorry, she smiled and turned away – she didn’t yank her train and swear. But you’re right – she didn’t know who he was, and she didn’t care.
anne hathaway had a small train..i believe it..she was in toronto a few months ago and acting like a royal b* to some pa’s that had to bring her coffee..long story short, it was too cold, she ordered them back, when they returned she didn’t even drink it..

I can see Kate Winslet doing this – she was desperate to win so was on her best behaviour before hand, however having got her award she didn’t need to keep that up. Also if she had had a couple os celebratory drinkies she might have been a bit less inhibited. I don’t think swearing is such a big deal in the UK as it can be in the US, and she is British of course.

Its not Uma, I looked up her picture and she wasn’t even wearing a full length dress, never mind a train. Unless she went into the party wearing one dress and changed once she was inside, but that doesn’t seem that likely

Natalie Portman fits the bill. Oscar-nominated for Cold Mountain and maybe something else, but never winning. Everyone talking about how perfect she is. People describing her as elegant and graceful – the “graciously” part made me think of her!
