[Blind Gossip] Want to know the real reasons this pilot is jumping networks? There are two. The first is that the first network cringed at the complete lack of chemistry between the two stars. They are each fine on their own, but the combination turns out to be an unpalatable mess. One is way too smug, and the other is way too bubbly.
The first network also didn’t like all the rumors they were hearing about the female star’s activities outside of her marriage. When you’re trying to impress upon America that your star is a wholesome traditional wife, the last thing you need is someone with a reputation as a ho.

Wow, WLG! I think you nailed it. They certainly looked uncomfortable on the “set” from the stills I saw, and he can come across as a complete know-it-all. As for Giada, well, we blinders know her well, don’t we? Almost as well as John Mayer.

Definitely Bobby and Giada. The NY Post had an article on January 27th that NBC picked them up to compete with “Live”. Here’s a paragraph from the article. “But as The Post reported last week, CBS passed on the show and returned the short presentation video the couple made to give potential stations a taste of what the show might be like.”
