[BlindGossip] Just a few short weeks ago this underage star stood on a table in a club screaming “Shots! Shots! Shots!” and downing alcohol until she could barely stand. The alcohol was purchased for her by her much older boyfriend. Then she went and did line after line of c*caine in the bathroom. The c*caine was provided to her by her friendly neighborhood dr*g dealer (with whom she got matching tattoos).
Despite having completed rehab in early 2011, it was clear that our party monster was once again out of control.
So, in January of 2012, she went to rehab again. It didn’t last long. Less than a week, then she was pulled out to go back to work. Of course, that strategy didn’t work, so in February, she checked into rehab yet again, this time at a different facility. Based on the seriousness of her alcoholism and coke addiction, her doctors recommended a six-month stay.
She was pulled out after two weeks.
It doesn’t take a genius to know that you can’t rid a drunk, cutting, eating-disordered, bi-polar cokehead of her demons in two weeks. This poor girl has had so much emotional trauma in her life that there is no quick fix to her problems. She needs intensive help over a long period of time. She also needs to purge herself of all of the enablers and liars and sycophants who surround her on a daily basis and exacerbate the problem.
Yet, there she is, back at work, smiling and performing for her fans and pretending that everything is great. She is also promoting a television special on – wait for it – how she has stayed strong and sober and sexy for the past year. It’s not about genuine recovery. It’s about PR. There will be no mention during the special about her severe relapse and her health scare and the two more stints in rehab this year. Those were “vacations” and “retreats”. Unfortunately, as long as the lies and the hypocrisy continue, so will her disease.
She needs to take a solid six months off to do nothing but get well. The fact that she is constantly being yanked out of rehab and thrown back into the work force because so many people and shareholders rely on her income is both disgusting and sad. Shame on the mouse. Shame on the moonman.

I understand she’s “only” 19, is an addict, and suffered trauma. But as an adult, it’s time she takes responsibility for her actions and choices. She needs to get a grip and recognize that she needs the help of professional doctors and not anyone in show business.
Blame, blame, blame. No one can “pull” a 19 year old out of rehab if the 19 year old doesn’t want to leave rehab. Drug addicts are the same- she’s just rich and famous and sells her “talent” instead of selling her body for her next fix. No one can help an addict until s/he wants the help. Period.
I don’t buy the whole “Young Stars are SO Stressed & Such Victims” arguement. Average people suffer trauma. Try being a 19 year old nobody with the economy the way it is right now- trying to get a paycheck, an education, paying for a car, gasoline, and utilities. People are losing their jobs, their homes, and their families. That’s stress. Drugs are prevalent in every economic section. So waah, big money makers~ walk away from it all tomorrow and see if you feel any better.
It’s true that no drug addict can get help until he or she wants help, but in her case, even if she realizes she’s in over her head and wants help, she has managers and friends and family all convincing her she’s fine, she doesn’t have a problem and she needs to get back out there and work and fulfill her commitments. She has all of this hanger-ons that want to use her for money and fame, that are not interested in her best interests. I think it makes it a lot more difficult to get sober when you’re a teenager with who knows how many people dependent on her, that would rather have her out making money than getting sober.
It’s sound like Demi Lovato for sure.

Seriously… isn’t anyone going to stop the Monster Mouse? I get that heaps of child stars are manipulated, but almost every star they push out seems to wind up with major emotional damage.
The problem with Disney is that they aren’t making as much money as they did 20, 30 or 40 years ago, when their movies were blockbusters and every mother brought their children to see them. Now they are after profits, and now they have a channel with original shows and need young stars to sell merchandise. These kids are being pimped with no regard for their welfare and its the parents’ faults dually for going along with Disney’s practices for some scratch. Nothing will change until someone dies and/or writes a GROUND-BREAKING TELL-ALL BOOK. Don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet? Disney must have a tight chokehold……

The sad truth is that, as an adult, unless/until she gets caught breaking the law, no one can force her into rehab.
Yeah, sadly, but understandably, you can’t force someone into rehab. If the person is there against their will, they won’t make any sort of progress; they’ll waste the time of those working to help them get better; and, even worse, their destructive nature will likely set back other people who are there with a genuine wish to heal.

OK…I’m not so sure about shame on the mouse. As far as I can tell, Disney has pretty much washed their hands of her. Sonny with a Chance was changed to So Random. A couple of her songs are still played on Disney, but by different singers. I would imagine that those songs are owned by Disney, so their prerogative. They don’t even play old episodes of Sonny with a Chance, but they have recently played Camp Rock again recently. Also, the Jonas Brother’s dad kicked her off of their tour when she first went off the deep end.

Other than still being signed to Hollywood Records whose parent company is Disney, she is not under contract as a Disney channel star. They ditched her after her first rehab stint when she hit her backup dancer. Hollywood Records operates pretty independently of Disney, just like ABC television or any of their other subsidiaries. This rests solely on her and her management. Her stepfather is her primary manager, and although she is still signed to Jonas Group, no one from the Jonas family has anything to do with her by mutual agreement. She is just as responsible for all the lying as her handlers are. She could say no. She doesn’t want to. It’s not like she is a child. She is old enough to make her own choices and she chooses to destroy her life and lie to her stupid child fans about being happy and healthy. They all think BG has a vendetta against her and that’s why you “make up” these “stories”. The level of denial they are in is unreal. They refuse to believe she has ever done drugs or drank and is a wholesome tormented virgin princess. It’s pathetic, but she eats up the attention. Don’t blame anyone but her.
Hope those responsible wipe the blood off their hands when they are picking out her tombstone. Seriously though, when the hell are the self centered monsters who keep destroying these young kids going to be made to pay for what they are doing?
