[Lainey Gossip] She’s pregnant. It’s still early but she’ll start to show soon. And she’s happy, they’re both happy, but also really, really freaking out. Because around the time of conception, they were both using rather frequently. It’s just what they do together. Besides, she thought she was past the point of another child. So it was a surprise, to say the least. A pleasant one, yes, but she’s not sure if it’s one she wants to keep. She is convinced the child will not be right. She is convinced, in her mind, in her words, that she’ll “be paying for it” for the rest of her life, in the form of care and stress, and that this will be her punishment for such recklessness – to be attached to a kid that will need her, in ways she’s afraid to imagine, forever. She’s also super paranoid that if she does have their baby and the baby has health problems, he’ll turn and blame her, and be disgusted by her, and leave her. Without all his access, it’s a totally different life. And ultimately she still wants to be desired, she prioritises being desired. It’s a decision she is agonising over but she’s running out of time.
The good news? The drugs have stopped completely.

Rebecca’s second baby is only a few weeks old. Any mom out there will tell you that it’s highly unlikely they were being “physical” a week or two after childbirth.

I’m going to support you on this one. Not because of the photo since Ace mentioned previously that when it’s not their blind it’s usually a stock photo. But I do like the “Wanted” and desired link.
Additionally, it’s a Lainey blind and Lainey is not like Ted. She wants people to figure them out. Lainey may not post too many clues in the blind itself, but she posts clues AROUND the blind. Meaning, around the time the blind is posted (either before or after she posts the blind) she’ll post about the subject of the blind in another post and include a subtle reference to the blind. That’s Lainey’s way.
In this case, after she posted this particular blind, she posted about 2 women referencing babies. One was Sienna Miller who obviously doesn’t fit. The other was none other than Ms. Jolie. Also Angie is OBSESSED with being viewed as desirable. That is her image. That has always been her image. Angie’s career is powered on sex. And “past the point of having kids” to me means that they had not planned for anymore kids (because Lainey’s pretty blunt and would have said “too old to have kids” if that was the case). Angie has SIX KIDS….maybe by now she is “past the point”.

This is exactly what I thought too when I read “past the point”. It could have been worded differently if the woman in question was too old to biologically have children. To me it meant indifferent to getting pregnant again or content with the size of their family. With six kids already maybe they weren’t necessarily thinking of adding to their family intentionally!

In truth, this never has to be revealed if she ends the pregnancy – no one will ever know. But I hope she doesn’t end it (if this is her). It’s been shown that consuming alcohol at the time of conception is way more dangerous than consuming drugs (bizarre, huh?) and lots of women go on to have healthy babies regardless (of consuming alcohol and/or drugs at the time of conception). Nicole Richie was heavy into drugs around the time she got pregnant with her first and Harlow went on to be normal, right? (Hopefully, though who knows really?)

While I agree with how you reference past the point of having more meaning the sheer NUMBER of kids Angie and Brad have, does she fit for the ‘needing her man’s access’ part. Angie is by NO means less famous than Brad.
And can Angie really be afraid of having a kid with any issue ‘attached to her’ forever? She has six kids. Her life IS her kids. She makes it this way, even with having outside help.
Angie’s image & career entered the stratosphere the moment they became Brangelina. There is NO WAY she would have been this famous without Brad (and Jen neither). And now? Angie is 35. She’s in her decline as a sex-symbol and she knows it which is why she is embarking on the “directing/producing” thing with heavy “borrowing” of others’ material. Brad himself has stated that when he feels he is no longer attractive enough for lead actor roles, he will bow out gracefully and start “directing/producing” as well. Seems women have to unfortunately go that route before men in Hollywood (grrr, we need to change that).
Also, Brad gives Angie respectability, i.e. access to the “minivan majority” (Lainey term) that Angie would NEVER have on her own. That’s what I took to mean “needing her man’s access” – Brad is a STAPLE with the minivan majority and always has been (as is George Clooney, to digress). Their whole pack (George, Brad, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, etc) is. Angie’s not part of that pack without Brad. She never has been. She’s the bizarre knife-wielding chick that resonates with the teens to under 25 crowd which she has outgrown.
Angie’s life IS her kids – that’s her IMAGE. I definitely think she adores her kids, but Angie is like a wild animal. She needs her freedom – at least now. And anyone who leads the kind of life Angie leads tends to heavily discount the future viz “oh maybe when I get old I’ll be lonely and need my kids”. Yeah, don’t think that’s ever been her personality. JMO though.

I completely disagree with you on the age. She doesn’t have to bee too old to have more children. I am in my 30s, absolutely still physically capable of having more children, but feel I am “past the point of another child”. I have 4 boys, of which the youngest is 6 years old and I don’t plan to have any more.
That being said if I found out I were pregnant I would be surprised as I feel I am past the point of having more.
But you probably take precautions. The way Lainey juxtaposed “being past the point of another child” and “being surprised to say the least” made it seem like those two are linked. It sounds like she thought it wasn’t a possibility, thus being surprised to say the least. Whereas if you’re of childbearing age and get pregnant, sure you’re surprised, but not because you’re “past the point”…

There is no such thing as ‘a touch of down’s syndrome’ you either have it or you don’t. The twins just have a slightly odd look , as did their sister and mother when she was very young, they’ll grow out of it, being mouth breathers doesn’t help.

Just want to say I feel that “past the point of another child” could be simply referring to the decline in fertility past age 35 when your odds of getting pregnant start to go down dramatically. This could totally be the Jolie, except I’m sad to say I can’t see her stopping the drugs completely. I will also add that Brad absolutely ups her access and I doubt she would be able to afford the lifestyle the currently lead without him – constant travel by private plane ( which screams ‘need to get my drugs through security’ to me),4827 nannies and chateaus for days. Brangelina is definitely greater than the sum of its parts, especially HER part. Her actIng sucks and she really can’t count on that to pay her bills forever.

Both Brooke (her first birth) and Angelina (her last) had twins, which as KatrinaJ suggests above, does raise the possibility of IVF for either/both of them. As far as I know, people use IVF when they are having challenges getting pregnant, which covers the whole “thought she was past the point” thing. That said, with Brooke in rehab the last couple of months, I’ma go with Angelina.

I’m sooo sick of the guess Angelina for everything camp. Before you guess Angelina you should be required to read the blind 7 times
I also think it’s Brad and Angie. First of all, everyone says Brad only smoked pot, but there was a blind *supposedly* about how he and Julliette Lewis used to do heroin together. Which just so happens to be- ding ding ding!- Angie’s *alleged* drug of choice. Angie has said she doesn’t like pot (actually that it’s the only drug she doesn’t like.) And, honestly, to be worried about your child having severe problems- especially around conception- it would have to be a hard drug. Weed or alcohol in early stages could have some effect, but if you quit upon finding out you were pregnant, it wouldn’t be devastating.
Also, I think the twins have some problems due to her drug use while pregnant, and she may have had a scare when she was PG and thought it could be much worse at some point. Most addicts aren’t aware of their actions affecting others (because being an addict is selfish- truthfully.) My guess is this is someone who had a close call before and would realize it could have serious consequences.

A good bit of this does fit Melanie Griffith, but Antonio Banderas talked about the intensive rehab she did in 2010, saying, “The whole family took part, Stella included. We participated very directly, all of us.” Griffith’s son Alexander and daughter Dakota were there, as was her former stepson, Jesse Johnson, and Griffith’s mother, Tippi Hedren, according to Wikipedia.
Lainey added that this is a “mostly” movie actress. That does fit Melanie, who did movies mostly but has lately done some television. But that quote really doesn’t sound like someone who would be using with her after all that struggle, or providing access.

I think this one just got solved. It’s Uma Thurman! It was just announced that she is expecting. I never saw Uma as a drug user, but absolutely every clue fits: she’s 41, has two kids now over ten, is mostly a movie actress (as Lainey clarified), and her boyfriend is a financier worth over half a billion dollars. And although she has her own money, without access like that, it is a different life indeed.
