[CDAN] This 90210 (the current one) actress is so hated by her fellow cast members that they are always calling her names behind her back and making fun of the way she speaks. It all comes from the fact she thinks she is better than the rest of the cast. They are very creative with their names for her and have formed a combination of the word b**ch which mocks the actress and her habit of talking about herself in the third person and her unusual name.

Shenae Grimes
AnnaLynne McCord?
Shenae grimes. She probably considers herself better than everyone cause she was on Degrassi for a few years and isn’t she Canadian which would give her an accent.
Being Canadian doesn’t give you an accent.
We have less accents than a lot of people in the USA. If you’ve seen Canadian’s with accents on TV, they’re probably on American programs and they have been exaggerated. I don’t say ‘eh’ or ‘nu doot aboot it’ or any other stereotype that you may have heard.
Some Canadians I’ve met definitely have the typical Canadian accent, and some don’t. Some American have accents, and some don’t. Nothing to get all defensive about….
Doon’t get all ehpset, new, eh?
Just kidding. I work in Canada often. Some have it, some don’t. It inflects just like US accents depending on whether someone is from the NorthEast, North, South, MidWest, West, or SouthWest. In Canada, it’s a stronger inflection in the maritime provinces and Ontario (Quebec is mainly french-speaking), but almost undectable at all as you move Westward.
Where the hell do all of these accents come from anyway?
Annalynne McCord?
Shenae Grimes?
Shanae grimes!!
Taylor?
AnnaLynne McCord or Shenea Grimes? Those are the 2 most uncommon names. I don’t know about either saying things weirdly though.
Shanae “Grimey” Grimes, as her friends called her lol
I think it’s most likely AnnaLynne McCord or maybe Jessica Lowndes. Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup are good friends off camera and consistently tweeting each other.
Jessica Lowndes IS better than everyone else on that show.
She can actually act.
Speaking in the 3rd person is totally McCord.
Damn got my Jess’s mixed up.
I like Jess Stroup. Silver is the best.
lol I was about to reply: WTF Ade cannot act at all but then you corrected yourself.
I heard everybody hates Shenae Grimes because she gets the most face time on that show. If you’ve ever watched the show (and sadly, I watched a few eps), Shenae has a somewhat snotty way of speaking…in other words, she puts on airs. But that is NOT a Canadian accent as Canadians have no accent
Canadians speak like American newscasters – i.e. accentless. At least I think so.
Wonder if the name they call her is “B*tchae” to rhyme with Shenae. Or, it could be Annalynne McCord, though I don’t know if everybody hates her. I suppose her nic would be “B*tchalynne”. LOL.
I agree Canadians don’t have an accent, but there are a few words some Canadians pronounce different like “about” (especially in Degrassi). As for the item, I feel sad for Shenae because I learned to like her on Degrassi.
Everybody has an accent, no matter where you are from. But regardless, I hope it’s AnnaLynne McCord mainly because she annoys the crap out of me and I’d like to think I’m not the only one.
I agree with this, everyone has an accent but no one thinks they do. I’m from Michigan (so sometimes our accents will “blend” with those of our northern neighbors) and I cannot STAND the way Canadians say “processing” with a long O. I know it’s very British, but it just sounds so wrong with non-British accents.
As for the guess, I got nothing. I initially thought AnnaLynne McCord because she seems vapid and full of herself, but Shenae is a more unique name and could also fit.
People in Ontario speak a bit differently. I’m on the east coast of Canada, and I don’t use the long o’s. I speak and write in much more of an ‘American’ way than ‘British’.
I agree Canadians don’t really have an accent, they just say about a lil differently and “eh”. That makes me think Shenae and they call her B*tchae (as in “B*tchEH” LOL
good catch. I think that’s it!
It’s their “ou’s” – house, out, about – that are slightly different than the American version.
I think you got it on the person AND the nickname. Makes sense with the clues.
That was exactly what I thought. The reference to the “way she speaks” could be to saying “eh” — as Canadians are won’t to do — at the end of sentences rather than to any accent. *-eh would cover the three parts of the */ unusual name/ way she speaks clue.
I agree that it could be Shenae, she does speak a bit snotty in the show. About the face time, I think since last season she hasn’t been getting as much, where she is supposed to be the main character with Dixon. I noticed that it has shifted from Shenae to AnnaLynne getting the face time.
Shenae Grimes
Shenae “Grimey B**ch” is my first guess, esp due to being from Canada. (Although Annalynne “McB**ch” could fit the name combo …)
Definitely Shenae Grimes. I understand she wasn’t well liked at Degrassi, either.
Shenae Grimes. I met her once, and she was just plain mean.
spill!
Canadians have an accent, to me, when speaking certain words (I’m from NYC)…I have no idea about this but I happen to like ALM so I hope it’s not her
Yes, Canadians definitely have an accent – some more than others. My parents are both from the outskirts of Toronto. Despite having moved to the States when they were in their 20′s, they still get comments (especially my dad).
I think it’s an Ontario thing… I have some friends from Ontario and they speak differently than I do, and I’m from Nova Scotia. People are making it sound like Canadian’s have such thick accents though, and really compared to a lot of places in America, they’re pretty minimal. Not NEARLY as big of a contrast as the Southern states, or like Minnesota. And of course there are a good deal of Canadian’s with french accents.
OH MAN is this EVER shenae grimes. I went to school with her in Toronto. She is worse than you can imagine, and that was before she even got on 90210 so I’m sure she’s a total terror now. it really bothers me when people like her get famous, it totally reinforces all of her reprehensible behavior and gives her a validation she doesn’t deserve.
Shenae was supposed to be a nightmare on the show and because of it, was given less screen time in the 2nd or 3rd season. I definitely think it’s her. Annalynne is a somewhat unusual name, but only because it’s two normal names put together, so not really that unusual.
Shenae is a weird name… not even Annalynne can beat that.
And she’s got the STARRING in the opening credits as the only young actress/actor sooo….
You mean people watch this show?
Going with Anna Lyn McCord because hers is the only name I recognize in these guesses.
I do!
I think it’s Annalynne McCord. She gets the most press of all the press, and she is from Georgia, so may have a southern accent. Also, as someone mentioned above, Shenae and the rest of the cast tweet each other frequently. She also has stated that she wants to leave the show.
eldrick – People from Ontario do not have a noticeable accent. Ironic it’s people from the East Coast that give Canada in general the rep of saying “eh” and aboot” and “yous guys” – I know because I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up in the Greater Toronto Area where my ENTIRE neighbourhood were people from the east coat – my two young neighbours who I played with every day had accents that were so thick they were in ESL (English as a Second Language) class in elementary school. The neighbours to our right were from Nova Scotia – had an accent. And above us they were from New Brunswick and spoke with french accents. I have cousins in the caribbean that speak with definite accent but insist to me that I have an accent and they talk like the Americans on TV – lol!!!
I’ll go with Shenae Grimes – interesting name, and accent or not, its a rep Canadians can’t shake and is easy to make fun of…
I’ll say Annalynne McCord just because there are solved blinds that say she’s a snotty little *.
Shenae Grimes. She seems super awkward and weird..
