Multiple PR fiascoes have failed to quash stories about her relapse, so her handlers will be trotting her out in public and forcing her to perform this weekend in order to convince naïve fans that all is well.

So Demi Lovato will be presented today as one of the new judges on The X Factor. Wow. Do these producers know that she has been in and out of rehab multiple times this year? In and out, in and out, in and out.
Britney Spears will also be joining the X Factor. However, when Britney was falling apart, people who cared about her pulled out of the spotlight and got help for her. And now she is kept out of trouble by a dedicated team that includes her father and her future husband as her conservators.
In direct contrast, Demi Lovato is surrounded by an addict mother and party pals and enablers who care more about their wallets than they do about her health.
We’re betting that the producers bought the story that Demi is fine, and that rehab was years ago, and it was just for teen-girl-angst-kinds-of-problems like cutting and an eating disorder. Nope. Her management lies, her publicist lies, her parents lie, and she lies. Girl has a problem with alcohol and c*caine and b*limia and cutting and she’s been in r*hab at least three times already this year. We’ll repeat that: at least three times already this year! Not a “retreat” or a “vacation”. R*hab. Promises, Sober Living By The Sea, The Rose. Girl is a mess. And now she’s the X Factor’s mess.

I’m reading all these blinds about her and wondering. She is not A-lister only another Disney’s child. She is not that important. Why are they acting like that? I’m sure she can take some break unless she is the only source of money for them. Sad.
I was wondering the same thing but I don’t watch Disney shows so maybe I’m out of the loop. I do know who she is though.

I know everyone is going to say Demi Lovato, and it probably is her, but I’m going to go with Taylor Momsen.
I guess we’ll see who’s out and about this weekend that looks like they shouldn’t be.
Demi Lovato. I’m assuming the performance is the one she mentioned on her twitter that’s coming up in Chile. Poor girl. She needs real help. As far as I can tell, she didn’t lose fans the first time she went into treatment, if anything she’s more popular than ever. So she needs to be honest, take care of herself and come back stronger than ever and her fans will be waiting for her. And even if they aren’t, and the money is gone, at least she still has her life. Doing c*ke and h*roin and partying like crazy is going to kill her. Sad that her management team and parents would rather see the paychecks coming in than make sure she gets the help she needs. She needs to go away for at least six months, and really focus on her sobriety and well-being and getting away from the spotlight before she loses everything.

Though this situation is sad, let’s be clear that DEMI is harming herself. Not her handlers. She is not a minor, she is responsible for her behavior. The people she employs to secure work for her are only trying to do their jobs and trying to keep her afloat financially. Let’s not blame her family or her employees for her behavior. She is ultimately responsible and hopefully she will get the help she needs.

I feel horrible that Demi’s team is taking her out of rehab when she needs help the most. If this keeps going, she will actually lose fans, she didn’t lose fans the first time she went to rehab, she ended up gaining more fans. Demi, don’t listen to your team, just get better. It’s sad they care more about money than her health, sooner or later she might be dead.
This is so sad. The poor girl. I knew when I saw she was hanging out with Wilmer Valderama (sp?) that all was not well. He was Lohan’s boyfriend when she was that age and look where that ended up. DL needs a miracle ’cause apparently she’s got no-one in control of the situation.
California’s DHS must be non-existent or be on the take because in any other state they’d have taken the other kids away from such avaricious and negligent parents who clearly only care about living off their kids. Shameful, even borderline evil. Demi, ditch them and get help, your life depends upon it. This is really sad. Both the fact that she relapsed, but more so the fact that she can’t get the help she needs because she needs to keep up public appearances. Just a horrible situation for her.
Long-time reader of BG, first-time commenter. Ace, I’m sure that you’ve been threatened with lawsuits, which is the only reason that this item is blind (incredibly thinly veiled though it may be).
Poor Demi. Her “sober is sexy” campaign must’ve really been a crock if she isn’t seeing that her team is using and abusing her. This girl has been making some serious money for years, obviously- why can’t enough be enough? I mean, sure, a relapse might not be the best for her image in the immediate sense, but addicts/eating disorder sufferers relapse. I did, and it was a natural part of the recovery process. You screw up, and you learn from it. There is no shame in it unless you let it stick.
Whether or not that image takes a hit, and whether or not she ever makes quite the same amount of money as she has been (I don’t really see this being an issue)- isn’t it better to have her alive and healthy?

I don’t understand why they can’t just let her stay in rehab. There are few stars these days who haven’t been at least once. If she just stays there are gets better, it won’t ruin her career. She isn’t a twiner anymore. If she gets better, she won’t have Lohan-style screw ups and more career longevity. That means more money for her and for her handlers. It’s kind of a no brainer.

Demi Lovato, this does describe her perfectly. She does have a show in Chile on the weekend of 2/4. But I really do not think she was in REHAB maybe just on lockdown at home with her recovery people watching her. I do think after these few shows, she needs to take a break and rest up. Look at making bank through less exhausting means, like voice-over work and writing songs or other singers. Bruno Mars does and Bob Dylan did it for more people than even himself.
She did wish her BF or whatever Wilmer Valderaama a happy birthday and hoped the world would see what such a great guy he is, He called her his angel. Remains to be seen if she attended his recent party, he has another on 2/2, but with her show on the 4th I doubt she will be at that one. She will be on a plane to Chile so she can get there on the 3rd to prep for the show.
I’m a fan of Demi Lovato and this is really worrying me; no one wants to see her seriously ill or – worse – dead, which will just become more likely the worse this gets. I really, really hope she’ll get the right treatment soon.

she’s bipolar and according to the blinds, she’s been off her meds lately. As someone who has a bipolar person in my life, I know how that goes. Many bipolar self medicate with drugs and high risk sex and not exactly in their right mind. Britney is rumored to be bipolar too. Does anyone else think that Wilder Valderrama is an awful influence on these girls? He started with LILO and noww Demi. I met him earlier this year in Atlantic city and he was 100% on drugs, like pills or the big H. Her people need to keep her and any other girl away from him. Poor Demi.

MPaige WV and drugs that might be the final thing that will kill that “relationship”. Almost every other tweet he puts out is about him and his party group called the wolfpack. All of this seems to started when she started to hang with him again. You notice that her parents DO NOT follow him in twitter. They probably do not approve of this relationship and know He is bad news. From what I can tell most of her party nights out are probably ways she can hook up with him covertly. We have not seen any pics of them doing BF/GF things like other celeb couples. Walking down the street together, those nov 1st pics in front of his house she looked pissed off and annoyed. NOT A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP.

One day she will have to choose Sobriety or him. Hope she chooses sobriety, or she will tell him, Sobriety or Me. He will probably choose drugs and partying.

He also has two more parties today, one on 2/2 and 2/4. She probably cannot be at these because she has her 2/4 show in Chile which means she will have to leave today to get there and prep on 2/3.
Since there is no pics of her at his REAL party, make me think her fam and team have her on a NO PARTYING lockdown because she has some shows coming up.
You know Ace, I’m watching Demi’s show on TV right now (I’m from Chile) and there’s so much sadness in her eyes, even when she smiles it seems that she’s gonna burst into tears in any minute… Demi really, REALLY needs to get help.
rayodeplata, Demi has been known to tear up and get emotional during some of her songs. I do think she just needs to work on her music, relax and heal. Stop dating older d-bags(much of her sadness could be coming from), and maybe take some music classes to hone her talent and build up her confidence with some acting classes.
