Probably because Portman has a reputation for not being very nice. All of these people are good-looking, yet some are more liked than others. It has nothing to do with relative physical attractiveness.

This could also be Mila Kunis. She was a trained ballerina, so she would likely sympathize with the other dancer’s issues. NP seems too wrapped up in her own world for this – still, could be.

That’s a good one! Totally forgot about that movie. And Emily Blunt already experienced the eating issues when preparing for “The Devil Wears Prada.” Anne Hathaway said in interviews how they would cry to each other because they were literally starving for their roles. So she of all people would be able to sympathize.

Emily Blunt played a dancer in a modern ballet company and, of course, Matt Damon’s love interest. She did some pretty impressive dancing on-screen a couple of times so would have had to train for that. Nice guess malkatz!
I think it’s Mila Kunis…Natalie Portman gives off the impression that she is super self involved…I just can’t picture her going out of her way for someone other than herself or her son

Makes me think this is an older movie than Black Swan. The post specifies, to this day. Usually, that means something that happened years ago.
You’re forgetting that it takes time to train for, then film, a movie. Usually movies wrap at least three months before the release, and begin filming at least a year beforehand. Additional training would tack on some more time.
Neve Campbell? She played a dancer in “The Company” from 2003, which featured many dancers from the Joffrey Ballet.
This could be Natalie Portman, but I’d imagine what really went down is that she needed to think of a way, quickly, to get some good press, made this up and fed it to the gossip sites herself. IDK, There is just something about that girl that works my last nerve.

I think Mila Kunis. If i remember correctly, she was on Punk’d MANY years ago and they did something like faked that a dog was trapped in a sewer and she happened to be walking by and was very empathetic in helping the lady who was speaking Russian. She strikes me as having a kind heart.
I don’t have a guess, but i think it’s an amazing thing to do. Whoever this is, has my respect.
