[NationalEnquirer] Which beloved ’90s sitcom star has turned into a Howard Hughes-type recluse and germaphobe? The tall actor has plenty of money from his long-running series, but his eccentric behavior has left him lonely and paranoid! Who is he?

Bob Saget?
I do not think it’s Bob Saget he still doing tv,and interviews. So he is not a recluse.
Michael Richards
I wish it was him, because if he was a recluse we wouldn’t have been subjected to that horrible racist rant of his a while back. Ugh.
Ray Ramano or Brad Garret? I don’t know if Ray R is tall but Brad G definitely is.
Beloved ’90s sitcom star – could reference Everybody Loves Raymond?
Can’t be Brad Garrett, he is still working…a lot. Check out all the things he has coming up on imdb, as well as his show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, starting in March. If he’s a recluse, I’ll eat my hat.
Ohhh – Love the reference! I’m going to go with Brad Garret tho because he’s taller.
It couldn’t be Brad Garrett, he was just in Hoodwink two,and have a new tv show, called I kid with Brad Garrett. I also do not think it’s Ray , since he has the tv show “Men of a Certain age”,and those Ice age movies.
Bob Saget
Michael Richards
Richard Moll from ‘Night Court’?
Now THIS is an answer I can get behind! No way is it Michael Richards or Brad Garrett.
I like that Guess. Richard Moll is “tall”, which was a hint in the blind.
I’d forgotten about him! According to IMBD, though, he’s got a pretty busy career going still, though.
Michael Richards? The “beloved” part does give me pause, though.
Only one I can think of is Kramer..but is he beloved after his comments a few years ago that got him in trouble?
I’m not sure that Michael Richards is “beloved” now, but he certainly was as Kramer.
Kramer? Watchoutboy!
Brad Garrett, certainly tall, could see this being him
Bob Saget? He’s 6’4 and should have plenty of money from Full House and America’s Funniest Home Videos. You don’t see him around too much anymore.
He still works quite a bit. Not that anyone is going to watch him, though.
Michael Richards
Ted Danson?
David Schwimmer?
Ted Danson just joined the cast of CSI.
David Schimmer is mainly a director these days
Forgot about Ted joining CSI.
I didn’t know Schwimmer was directing now. Thanks for the info.
Ted Danson has also been doing Curb for years, Damages, and Bored To Death
Oh wow, I didn’t know that. I only watched early seasons of Curb, and never watched the other two shows.
Was Night Court still 90s? Richard Mull?
I was thinking Michael Richards initially but with his later antics I don’t think he’s “beloved”…maybe only as Kramer?
David Schwimmer perhaps? He’s over 6ft tall and you rarely seem him nowadays.
I Agree.
He’s a director now. The only reason why we don’t see him is because he’s behind the camera.
Tim Allen: Home Improvement.
oh. I take that back. He’s in Last Man Standing :S
Michael Richards?
David Schwimmer
Kramer!
Kramer
Chandler from Friends! I haven’t seen him in forever.
He did 17 Again in 2009, was the star of the short-lived ‘Mr.Sunshine’ last year.. After it was cancelled, he then went back to rehab for about a month.
David Schwimmer
Michael Richards.
Kramer from Seinfeld.
ray romano- everybody “loves” raymond
Yes! This is it. I can’t understand why no one seems to think it’s Ray Romano…. is he working these days?
Yes. He’s on the tv show “Men of a Certain age”,and he in the Ice age movies. He always working these days.
He isn’t really considered a 90′s sitcom star, as his show ended fairly recently.
Abe Vigoda from Barney Miller!
Wow, totally missed the 90′s clue. Maybe Michael Richards even though I don’t think he’s beloved:)
or brad garrett…he is a giant
Raymond’s brother.
Bob Saget FTW. He’s morphed into a real Danny Tanner.
Harry Anderson from Night Court.
Howie Mandel? He’s mysophobic!
Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond?
Boy, the 90′s had a lot of good sitcoms. Wish we could go back to them instead of the barfalicious “reality” shows.
Brad Garrett – Everybody Loves Raymond – 6’8.5″
Brad Garrett runs his own comedy club at the Tropicana in Las Vegas and still does standup comedy regularly. Doesn’t sound like a recluse to me.
That is a good guess, due to the “beloved” clue, but he’s doing a lot of projects right now.
Brad Garrett from Everybody Love Raymond?
Jerry Seinfeld?
I was going to say David Schwimmer from Friends but I checked his imdb and he has a couple things in production and whatnot so it can’t be him. Other than that I can’t think of anything since I was just a kid in the 90′s haha
Brad Garrett, Everybody Loves Raymond started in 96.
Brad Garrett from Everybody Love Raymond?
Is David Hasselhoff beloved?
In Germany.
Hmmmmmm, this is tough. Beloved, tall? My best guess is Jaleel White.
I really like this guess. the other’s don’t seem to fit, because we always see those guesses out in public.
I haven’t seen urkel in FOREVER.
he is tall, we all loved him, and 90′s sitcom.
yepppp. I think it is urkel!
I agree, sounds like Jaleel White.
michael richards from seinfeld?
first time poster actually:)
Hello Jello! Love,Ace
Michael Richards aka Kramer
Michael Richards, aka Kramer?
Micheal Richards? Kramer the character is pretty beloved if not Richards himself.
First thought was David Schwimmer, but I’m generally way off on these things.
Brad Garrett?
kramer?
bob saget?
Kramer! (Is his real name Michael Richards? I don’t feel like Googling.)
based on the “tall” clue, I’ll throw in Brad Garrett from “Everybody Loves Raymond.” Per IMDB he has been working in recent years, but a lot of it is voice work. Granted he has a great voice for voice acting, but that also might be because he doesn’t want to be around other people.
just a random guess…:)
Cosmo Kramer!
Jerry Seinfeld. Tall & from a long-running series. And what’s important is that he is the co-creator so he would have tons of residuals from it. As opposed to a star on that show who is NOT the co-creator. And maybe that’s why his fair-weather wife Jessica is cheating on him.
OTOH, I’m going against my logic and suggest Kramer from Seinfeld too. He’s tall, & eccentric & unmarried I believe.
Is everything in moderation still? I’m guessing Michael Richards.
“Beloved” = Everybody Loves Raymond.
Tall…Brad Garrett.
Michael Richards – Kramer from Seinfeld. Looked at the list of 90′s sitcoms and this is the only guess that seems to fit. Plus, he had that problem a year or two ago where he was called a racist while doing his comedy stand up routine. That made him none too popular with the public which may have turned him into a recluse.
Tall with a long running sitcome from the 90s – Brad Garrett?
Kramer.
John Goodman?
Michael Richards from Seinfeld? He is tall, and I would think racist tirades might leave you lonely.
wild guess K. Cameron ?
MIchael Richards – Kramer from Seinfeld
Seinfeld or Grammar
Michael Richards (Kramer) from Seinfeld?
Michael Richards from Seinfeld.
Michael Richards
I thought Harry Anderson from Night Court, but that was more of an 80s thing.
David Schwimmer? Kramer? Who else was tall and on a sitcom in the 90s?
Whoever it is, it’s sad. That’s no way to live a life.
Kramer
michael richards, aka kramer?
bob saget?
Hangin with Mr. Cooper? He’s tall, right?
my husband just saw him randomly in an airport a couple weeks ago… not a great place for a recluse germaphobe
My guess is Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond.
John Lithgow?
This was my guess too! Even though he’s kind of been in a lot lately….
That was exactly what popped into my head, but I think he’s been working fairly steadily.
Brad Garrett is Not a recluse. He’s starred inn “Til Death” after the end of “Raymond” and is out and about. He is easily accessible.
Bob Saget plays comedy clubs, makes radio appearances and is generally available.
Michael Richards is pretty much off the map (aside from two very brief and awkward appearances on “Curb your Enthusiasm” over a year ago). Unfortunately, I am confident the blind is about him.
I’m guessing Michael Richards. He was beloved before the racist tirade. I think he kind of lost his mind that night and was lashing out for the one thing that would hurt his hecklers the most. I feel sorry for him, and I’m black.
mike myers for the win
Mike Myers is 5’7″.
I’ll get behind Bob Saget guess … FYI “Night Court” was mostly ’80s. I don’t think people consider it ’90s, but it did end in 1992.
The only person that this could be is Michael Richards. He was beloved before his racist rant a few years ago, and the other tall 90′s sitcom stars mentioned have been working a lot lately. Since 2000, he’s only done 2 voiceovers and appeared briefly on Curb.
Sadly,I think this is Matthew Perry. I was always fascinated with Howard Hughs, and as a fellow Canadian who likes “quirky” a lot, I would love to make him less lonely. LOL
Bill Cosby?
Garry Shandling (Larry Sanders show). Can’t remember now what decade that was, though. lol
Patrick Duffy?
Dave Coulier?
I just can’t get on board with the Michael Richards guess. He was beloved BEFORE his racist tirade, but he’s been a pariah ever since, and it’s probably the reason he isn’t getting much work.
CrossingTheLine beat me to it, but I’m gonna say Patrick Duffy. His IMDB from 2010 on is barren and he’s 6 foot 2.
He’s in the new series of Dallas & pops up on The B&B a few times a year.
Matthew Perry?
