It sounds like the part about a pregnancy affecting careers would be for a much younger couple, or a couple in which one partner is married or with someone else.

I was about to say the same thing! As much as I can’t stand Bieber, I’m pretty sure he’s a solid A and Gomez must surely be higher than a C. Then again, I can’t think of anyone else. I don’t think it’s an older couple as some are stating. In this day and age, a lot of celebrities are waiting until they’re practically near menopause to have children, so an older couple being pregnant wouldn’t be secret-worthy. Biebs and Gomez on the other hand…having a baby would definitely affect both of their careers.

I would say that most anyone over 25 that doesn’t have kids would know as much or less. I think I like it that way too. I don’t like his “punch me” face.
That said, it seems like Gomez and Beiber. No one else really fits unless there are some other extraordinarily young famous people whose careers would be hugely affected by a baby.

I have a hard time seeing Justin as A/B and Selena as a C list actress (she is more like an A/B singer)…. unless the theory that they are only A list for the tween crowd and not for anyone else is correct.
That being said, I can’t think of any other young actress/musician combos. Anyone that would make big headlines (Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens etc.) isn’t with a famous musician.

It’s not so much a theory as just the truth. You have to have some longevity to your career before you are afforded blanket A list status, and it’s pretty hard for the teen heartthrobs to do for a long time. Justin Timberlake immediately comes to mind as one who has managed to do it in recent memory, but he is not the norm.
This is reminiscent of the blind last week where I, and others, were vehemently opposed to Liza Minnelli being called anything less than A list. It’s all a matter of perspective, and probably which side of 30 you are on.

Both are supposedly hetro so it’s not a bearding situation where a pregnancy would be out of the question.

Cant be Delta Goodrem and Nick Jonas. Delta had cancer and chemotherapy. She cant have children anymore even if she wanted to.
Has she confirmed that she cannot have children? Chemo and/or radiation does not automatically render you unable to have children, unless you had to have a complete hysterectomy. It CAN be a side effect, but it’s not definitive. Women are less likely to be sterile after chemo than men. How very sad, if true.
She could still get pregnant. What a publicity boon for her if it is true since she’s supposed to have a new album out this. For Nick, who knows.
