yeah, but this says the person is unrecognizeable- Streisand is def recognized everywhere, and no one says she looks like Joan Rivers with too many lifts.

Just saw Patti Lupone on Broadway five rows back and am fairly certain she hasn’t had much work done. In fact, I remarked to my friend that it was refreshing to see someone who has accepted the aging process gracefully. That said, I don’t know who this blind refers to, although Bebe Neuwirth is a great guess.
I am so jealous. Or envious. Or whatever.
I just saw Bernadette Peters in Follies a few weeks ago and she still looks exactly the same so she must be getting work done BECAUSE she hasn’t changed. It must be hard to sing with a frozen face.
I’ll go with the Patti Lupone guess as well. Can’t think of any other Broadway stars who would be immediately recognizable to the general public.
My first post! What about Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing? I saw her on TV and she was completely unrecognisable! But has she been on Broadway recently?

Marlo Thomas? She opened in Broadway (“Relatively Speaking”) back in Sept. She is definitely from “the old days”, and is unrecognizable now due to plastic surgery.
Absolutely! I just looked up recent pics and I think she’s recently had her entire jawline redone! She’s had tons of plastic surgery over the years, but the jawline definitely looks like something more recent.
Yes, the jawline, for sure; I think her eyes look different. I loved her as “That Girl”.
Christie Brinkley, who starred in Chicago in New York and now in London. She looks like a wide-eyed maniacal clown…nothing like her former self.
Though Brinkley annoys the crap out of me, she does look really good (I guess her surgeon goes the less-is-more route) and she’s still very recognizable.
Don’t think it’s her.. I see her all the time& she is stunning in person! I actually sat there& stared at her one day because she is so gorg in person! Looks flawless all the time! It’s sounds dumb but she really is breathtaking !
She is attractive, but she looks NOTHING like she used to look.
I don’t know. “Applause” = Lauren Bacall to me. However, I haven’t seen any pictures of her lately.
She’s 87 – is she really on Broadway? Pretty impressive old broad if she is!!
If I were 87 I don’t think I’d give a care as to how old I looked as I’d think I’d just thank god for every day I was still alive and clear minded. That said, I have a very wealthy relative nearing 90 and she’s had work done, even as recently as in the past few years.
Kim Cattrall – saw a recent photo of her the other day that a friend took after she was exiting the theather – looks nothing like Samantha from SATC.
How about Swoozie Kurtz?
It could be her…she does look quite different. It appears she has had a facelift and a new nose.

This is absolutely, 100% Marlo Thomas in ‘Relatively Speaking’. Barbra Streisand hasn’t been on Broadway in years, Patti Lupone is recognizable and is currently starring in a show in which it is only her and Mandy Patinkin onstage, so how on earth would audiences not recognize her?
Marlo Thomas, on the other hand, is currently on Broadway, and many of the reviews of the show mentioned how unrecognizable she is – she’s in a blond wig, but the face looks new too.
I’m completely with you on the Marlo Thomas guess. She’s no longer “That Girl”, she’s become “Any Girl” – as in, it could be anyone. I grew up regularly watching her, and wouldn’t recognise her at all now.
