[CDAN] This actor is probably a C list. He has definitely had times where he has been a B or B+, but that was when times were good and he was getting some good roles in some very popular movies. Now, he basically is a fringe guy. Movies, television, whatever it takes to earn a buck. If you saw him you would know exactly who he is, but would probably not remember his name. Anyway, going from making a million bucks a year to significantly less than that has transformed him from more of a happy kind of guy to one who goes on some seriously violent rampages. His wife has left him several times, generally to protect their child/ren. Our actor has punched walls, torn down chandeliers, and even took a baseball bat to his refrigerator. His wife considers herself lucky to have only suffered a few bruises here and there, mainly while trying to calm her husband down during one of his rages. His most recent one was on Halloween when he tore down all of the decorations in and outside of the house and even yelled at kids walking down the street that there would be no f*cking Halloween at his house this year.

Barry Pepper?
Michael Rappaport
Yes. That was my 1st thought.
A good guess, considering he is reduced to cell phone commercials.
The problem with this guess is that he’s never had “good roles in very popular movies”. He’s had tiny roles in somewhat popular movies (like Hitch), and big roles in terrible movies (The 6th Day, The Pallbearer).
I think he’s been a “fringe actor” from the beginning, and is probably better known for his TV roles.
Nooooo! I love him…but you’re probably right. I could totally see him losing his temper like this.
Edward Furlong?
Eddie who??? LOL! I do not think Eddie Furlong ever received a decent movie role after Terminator 2.
Edward Furlong has several movies in post-production where he’s in the top three billed.
Plus, he and his wife have been separated for at least a year, may be divorced now.
luv, I’d definitely consider American History X and Pecker to be decent movie roles Furlong scored after T2, and he was a recurring character on CSI NY. He’s done a lot of crap horror too, but he’s definitely been steadily working.
John Turturro (in the Transformers franchise as a clue)?
In the Blind, ‘good’ and ‘buck’ are repeated. Turturro starred in “The Good Shepherd” and in “Box of Moonlight” he plays opposite a character named Buck (though that may be a stretch).
Also, in the movie “Thirteen Conversations About One Thing” Turturro has that well-known line: ‘I want what everyone wants…to be happy’ ~ with the ‘happy’ clue in the blind?
Corey Feldman, but I didn’t have to look up his name….
He would surely have been A-list in the 80s?
I’d guess James Woods.
Not married. No kids. And he is 65 years old. I think someone would have mentioned him being crazy before this.
Christian Slater?
It sounds like Charlie Sheen but he is divorced now.
Joshua Jackson from Fringe??
I’d go with that aside from not being married or having kids. I really thought Fringe was a clue.
Not married and no kids.
I do not think it’s him. Since he was once consider A list when he was on Dawson’s creek. He had a lot of leading roles in teen movie. Plus he’s not married with kids.
For some reason this made me think of Michael Chiklis.
Oooh…. I could kind of see that…
Scott Wolf? Just a guess. There’s a party of five at the door. I can recognize his face but never remember his name.
First-time poster and I love, love, LOVE this site, BG!!!
My guess is Woody Harrelson (though he seems like more than C-list to me, but that’s probably just me getting older).
Clues:
*”If you saw him you would know exactly who he is, but WOULD PROBABLY NOT REMEMBER HIS NAME.” Harrelson was in “Cheers,” which featured the theme song “Where Everybody Knows Your Name.”
*”…transformed him from more of a happy kind of guy to one who goes on some seriously violent rampages.”
His character on “Cheers” was a clueless/happy sorta guy, he used to have a reputation for being a laid-back st*ner type and advocates legalizing m*rij**na, he costarred as Galxia in “Anger Management,” he’s had documented troubles with the law (the famous TMZ camera guy incident, the London taxi incident). Also, father was a convicted professional hitman.
*Hasn’t done much lately as far as “lead” movie roles; went from starring roles in movies like “The People Vs. Larry Flynt” and “The Messenger” to “fringe-y” parts like “The Bartender” in “Bunkaru.” Plays Steve Schmidt in the made-for-TV movie “Game Change” (currently in post-production).
*Married to Laura Louie; they have three daughters.
*INfamous TMZ camera guy incident
Ugh, I HATE typos/spelling errors–especially mine! Sorry; cat on keyboard.
Woody Harrelson has a part in the Hunger Games, sure to be a huge hit in 2012. And according to Celebrity Net Worth, he’s worth $65 million.
Good work on the clues though! They do all seem to fit!
Hi Griff! We’re glad you finally made it! Love, BG
Thanks, BG; me too!
While your logic is otherwise flawless, I’m pretty sure everybody DOES know Woddy Harrelson’s name?
Woody. That’s W.O.O.D.Y. I’m tired. LOL
Yeah, while I don’t quite get the logic for all of the “grades,” you’re probably right. Everything else fit, though…anyone else from “Cheers”??
I don’t think that line is a “Cheers” reference. This describes an actor who used to get good movie roles and is now reduced to television or anything he can get. I really don’t think it’s going to be a person who is best known for a television show.
Freddie Prinze Jr?!
Used to be hot hot hot back when I was a teen, and then after those horrible Scooby Doo movies he sort of fell off the face of the planet. The fact that his wife has a new show has got to do something to his ego, right?
I could see it being him.
I do not think it’s Freddie. Freddie was on every teen magazine back in his hey days, and was a leading man is mostly all his movies. Everyone knew his name. His wife is Sarah Michelle Geller, and his last tv acting gig was on “24″. So he’s too well known to be forgotten .
Peter Facinelli?
Can’t be him. He’s in the Twilight movies and has a regular role on Nurse Jackie.
I don’t know who he is but his wife is NUTS to put up with this. Not only is it affecting the child/ren but she/they could also be killed! Really upset by this one!
That photo reminds me of Jake and the Neverland Pirates and right now David Arquette is the voice of Skully the Parrot so I’m going with him.
How about John Noble?
He’s been in high profile movies such as Lord of the Rings
He plays Walter Bishop on Fringe (basically a fringe guy)
He voices the character of Unicron in the Transformers Prime tv series (transformed him from a happy guy)
This is my first post!!
I’m gonna guess Sam Rockwell. Years ago, I was a PA on a movie that he was fired from and when it happened – in a rage – he walked over and pushed me for absolutely no reason. Our mutual friends say he’s the nicest guy in the world, but I saw an ugly side.
Neal McDonough played First Lieutenant Lynn D. “Buck” Compton inBand of Brothers.
This is all over the place! I hope a consensus is reached so I can throw eggs at his house next H’Ween!
Michael Madsen?
Jeremy London
I like this guess….he has a history of being an A-hole.
Well I hope I’m wrong but I want to say Paul Giamatti – primarly because of the “I’m not drinking effin merlot” line from Sideways. You would know him but maybe not know his name. But he has very high accolades and is still doing decent work I believe but not in the vein of 7 or so years ago.
First Timer !!! My Guess Seth Gabel (Married to Bryce Dallas Howard) 2 Children, been in a few good films Lord of the Rigns & Davinci Code.
Welcome, Clare! Love, BG
Thank you BG So exited !! Oh and comment should read Lord of the Rings !
