[CDAN] This former reality star turned celebrity turned reality judge had the biggest attitude at an event this week. It was about fashion so of course she thought she knew the most and anyone who had a differing opinion with her was told, “Until you have a fashion line, then all you have is an opinion. I know what I am talking about.” She then looked at another former reality star from a show I hated with a passion and refuse to acknowledge even existed who had a fashion line and said, “Until you have a successful fashion line.” She then turned and walked off.

It might be Lauren Conrad, but her high end fashion line failed miserably. Her line at Kohl’s is doing well, but it’s hardly high fashion. She might be talking to Whitney Port. She also has a fashion line.

Nicole Ritchie as the b*reality star, both her lines House of Harlow 1960 and her other line do well, the 2nd reality star is Jessia Simpson, both are judges on a new fashion themed reality show and apparently Miss former druggie reality star Ritchie thinks she’s above Jessica Simpson because Jessica has low end tastes. but the irony of the situation is that Jessicas Simpson line has went well over the 1 billion dollar mark.

As poorly as the above-blurb is written, it IS confusing but I think it’s saying that #2 HAS had a fashion line. Let’s add some commas to clarify it: “She then looked at another former reality star, from a show I hated with a passion and refuse to acknowledge even existed, who had a fashion line and said, ‘Until you have a successful fashion line.’”
That being said, I’m totally on board with Nicole Richie blasting poor Jessica Simpson. She was a total beyatch in her early 20′s. (I’ll dig out a reference of this behavior) Yes, I know she’s older now but maybe not wiser.

I’m not sure who this is but whoever she is she sounds pretty arrogant and catty.
Why? She’s right on both counts.
Actually, with these celeb fashion lines, it’s usually the celeb NAME selling the line and not the celeb know how or “opinion”. So, no, she’s not right on both counts. She’s wrong on both. If you recall, before Rachel Zoe came into Nicole’s life, her fashion “opinion” was abysmal. And how does Nicole thank Zoe? Calls her “raison face”. Lovely.
So Nicole (if this is her) is wrong. But even if she *were* right (which she’s not), there is no excuse for terrible manners which do make her sound absolutely petty, arrogant and catty. But that’s Nicole for ya! Can’t stand her and, if rumors are to be believed, neither can her husband who cheats on her pretty regularly.
She was right on both counts. No one buys an ugly outfit because it has a celebrity’s name on it. If she didn’t have some kind of insight on fashion, particularly the business itself, she wouldn’t have a successful line. I seriously doubt she has “fans,” so her clothes are certainly standing for themselves. It doesn’t really even sound rude to me. She’s simply stating that she does have the expertise in that area.
Nicole Richie and Lauren Conrad were both at the same Fashion Event in West Hollywood this week and Jessica Simpson has been in New York all week.
Nicole Richie for the person saying it. As for the one receiving it….must be LC. I think Simpson’s line, though lower-end is much more successful than Richie’s.
