But if it’s Nicole I’d think they’d say reality star/socialite/fashion designer/whatever else she may qualify as (I think she tried singing at one point, too.)

Hi Famous! I also didn’t know their marriage was fake but have heard he cheats on her constantly. And I also agree that Nicole Richie as “socialite” is not the first thing I’d think. I’d be more likely to think reality/television personality/fashion designer (though I can’t believe her line is successful as I’ve seen it while shopping and it is really shoddily made. The quality in workmanship is not there and her stuff is mostly made in China.)
Also, I think this is a New York gal and not an LA based one.

Agree. This is the New York Post, not some LA celeb blind. I’d think this woman is a New Yorker because of “fire escape” and the fact it’s a New York Post blind. That said, I don’t know any of the women you mentioned. LOL. “Muffie”. I love it.
I think they are thinking more along lines of Tinsley Mortimer types… real NY socialites.
