[CDAN] This former star, but not winning female recent American Idol contestant is currently sleeping with a married executive of her record company and a married president of a company she met two weeks ago. Apparently our singer does not have many as in no female friends at all. I wonder why.

I could see Pia being the type to have no female friends, and she seems driven enough to be willing to sleep around to get her career started.

So many people try to sleep their way to the top – so what does it matter if the spouse is married or single? The spouse obviously doesn’t care. And the wife may very well have done the same sort of thing when she was climbing her way to a career/husband. At any rate, it isn’t the woman’s fault for sleeping with the married man – it’s the fault of the married man. JMO

I should have posted “what does it matter if the *person* is married or single” as a “spouse” is automatically married. LOL.
But to answer your sarcasm, no it’s not the woman’s fault. It’s the fault of the person who is doing the cheating. Temptation will always exist – you can’t force or shame the temptation to not exist. Temptation doesn’t listen to you.
Right there with you mermaid. The married person is the cheater. The single person is lowering themselves to a person’s spare time whether it’s to their advantage or not.

And gotta have a backbone to believe the unfounded gossip that I want to believe … because, all gossip is unfounded by it’s very nature. But some people seem to believe that *their* version of gossip is fact and all others are wrong. (Or maybe they just don’t understand the definition of “unfounded”.) Which is hilarious in its smugness.

I think many people would agree that attached people who cheat display a selfish and cruel component to their character. There will also always be an alarming number of unattached people who, after sleeping with someone in a monogamous relationship, rationalize their behavior by saying, ‘I didn’t do anything wrong ~ I didn’t cheat on anyone.” Others who do this who have more self-awareness and a greater ethical sense will admit to themselves, ‘I shouldn’t have done it but I didn’t resist.’ If they’re really self-aware, they might admit ‘I love the thrill and power of being with someone else’s partner,’ though if they have that much insight they probably will resist temptation and not engage in that behavior (at least not repeatedly – their sense of personal responsibility will preclude it).

What’s that about belligerent? Come again? As I said before, you need to consult a dictionary. Look up the word unfounded because you clearly do not understand the meaning of the word. The blind said recent American Idol contestant. So I think that implies it’s someone from the most recent season, although I suppose they could be referring to up to a couple seasons back.
Jennifer Hudson? Katherine McPhee? That blonde country one with the huge fake implants? Diana DiGarmo?
I am surprised that so many people are guessing Pia. I always thought she got knocked out of Idol way too early, that because she lacked the ‘aw shucks’ awkwardness of the other finalists people did not take to her. She was just too polished in terms of image (beauty & style) and in terms of vocal talent – people could not identify with her. I hope all you guys are right about her and that this is not just another case of the public feeling threatened by a beautiful woman.
This is an insightful post. Pia did lack the requisite vulnerability / imperfections / ordinariness that an audience wants in these contestants in addition to being able to hold a note/ follow a dance routine/ stand on a log for hours etc
