[BuzzFoto] This very famous, and iconic actor from the 60′s is beloved by all his fans, but not so much by anyone that know him personally. Pretty much anyone that is around him or involved in his life currently, is there because of money. They are getting paid to do so. He is demanding, selfish and very eccentric. Several weeks ago, he had a fall and no one was around to help him because everyone had gone home for the evening. He was found by his house staff the next morning and had spent the night on his kitchen floor, crying. 623

Jack Nicholson??
Jerry Lewis?
I agree with you on this
How about Sean Connery or Christopher Lee?
Sean Connery or Peter O’Toole.
Shatner
Agreed w/the Shatner guess. He’s from the ’60s, iconic (Captain Kirk), loved by the Trekkies, and always been a little eccentric (from “Rocket Man” to his “Priceline” commericals. Plus, there’s been plenty of rumors that he’s a jerk to work with.
Oh gosh, I REALLY hate to say this because I LOVE Bill Shatner but I think you may be right, judging by how well he “got on” with the Star Trek cast.
2nd choice would be Jerry Lewis, which might explain his disappearance from the MD show.
PS: Have worked with the elderly and it nearly broke my heart to hear that this fellow ended up on the floor all night long, and was crying when found.
I thought Shatner at first too, but he’s married and the person that this is about must not be.
I agree with the Shatner guess. It wasn’t so long ago that Shatner tv show was cancel because of his behavior on the set.
Is that why it was canceled? My Fiancé loved that show& we couldn’t figure out why it was gone! Granted the cast wasn’t so great but it was pretty funny!
This is a good guess.
Kirk Douglas, keep hearing he’s a spitfire!
2nd choice Jerry Lewis
Hi BG!
Burt Reynolds
Hi Lib! Love, BG
What exactly does “from the 60′s” mean? Has he been acting since the 60′s? Was his heyday in the 60′s? If so, none of the guesses above fit the blind.
Good point.
Donald Sutherland, Gene Wilder?
Peter Fonda or Jon Voight?
Dustin Hoffman? The pic reminds me of the pool scene in The Graduate.
Excellent! I think you’ve nailed it.
I think his wife of 25 years, or possibly one of his 6 children would notice him on all floor all night
Dick Van Dyke
I like this guess – his long term partner has passed away and he’s famous for being a major alcoholic, which may be related to the fall… Very sad
He has been sober for a very long time.
I am on board with the Burt Reynolds guess. The picture reminds me of the playgirl centerfold he did back in the day. He has had some money and health issues recently, and I am sure he is depressed about all of it. Agree that the person is probably unmarried which eliminates Jerry Lewis, Dustin Hoffman and other guesses of married people.
I think this is Andy Griffith. He was huge in the 60s and has a “good guy” reputation, but there’s rumors he’s not what he seems.
He has a wife that never leaves his side. But the rumors are absolutely true, he’s not at all what he seems.
Oh man. In this state (NC) people would hunt you down for that. LOL!
Geographically, I’m right next door to you!
NC in the house!
Squirrels, I’ll provide the torches if you provide the matches!
I herd he is married in name only and his wife lives somewhere else but then again rumors. I am still sticking to my “Shatner Guess”
That’s probably in Shatner’s future, but he’s still somewhat spry.
He would just flip out his comm and get beamed back into a standing position.
Horrible story, though, even for someone who is complete jack***
Burt Reynolds (evening=Evening Shade). Very sad, whoever it is.
Are the grammar issues in this supposed to be a hint, or does BuzzFoto not employ an educated editor either?
I don’t think this is Burt. Burt was an icon in the 70′s.
He started on Gunsmoke but gained most of his iconic fame in the 70′s. Also BR is aledgedly broke, so they wouldn’t be getting much money off him.
Jerry Lewis is married, so I don’t think it is him. His wife would be around.
I think this is Shatner or Ryan O’Neal.
Ryan O’neal was most famous in the ’70′s as far as I remember ala “Paper Moon.” Perhaps the Andy Griffin guess although I hate to think that.
How sad. Sean Connery came to mind
Clint Eastwood. He was only know for acting in the 60′s but turned his career towards directing in the early 70′s.
This sounds like the actor isn’t married. I think the BI would have mentioned a wife. That eliminates Sean Connery, William Shatner, Jerry Lewis, Kirk Douglas, and Clint Eastwood. Burt Reynolds was more known in the 70′s. I do think this is Peter O’Toole. He was named one of the top ten actors of the 1960′s.
Hey Bunnyface….WOW, U R A Guest Here, take what you get and make what you can of it. Appreciate the site or go somewhere else where they teach formaal english writing. This is a website for entertainment, probably run in someones spare room. Respect it or start your own site, maybe writing for idiots. If you visit your neighbors home, do you tell them they have a bad choice of draperies? The world is changing bunny, play or take your ball home.
Wow, I totally disagree. Bunnyface wasn’t critiquing Blind Gossip, s/he was critiquing Buzz Foto, the site the blind was taken from. I would consider Buzz Foto to be the equivalent of a magazine, albeit in digitalized form, and like a typical magazine, they make their money from advertising. Personally, I think that if you’re going to go through the effort of registering a .com domain name and expecting revenue from advertisements displayed to your visitors, the least you can do is hold an editorial standard. And if you’re not going to adhere to said standard, I don’t think you can take offense to criticisms.
Beautifully stated – thanks~
“Formaal?” No apostrophes? — I think Bunnyface touched a nerve here. Hmm….
What are they teaching in school these days? Formal (can’t bring myself to spell it incorrectly) English writing is different from proper grammer. O nvr minde,
If it didnt say actor, Id have thought this was Hef, only people around him seems to be on the payroll.
And his “staff” doesn’t leave for the evening, they sleep with him. EWW
Ryan O’Neal??
Like the Jerry Lewis & Burt Reynolds guesses.
The pic made me think of Tony Curtis, although he died last year…
Long time lurker and first time poster.
I was thinking of Adam West. He’s not Shatner/Lewis famous but he’s been around a long time and when interviewed, he seems kind of…uh…quirky.
Welcome, CD! Love, BG
This could very well be Adam West. My parents once saw him drinking at a bar. My dad always says that he was “drunk out of his mind” when he tells the story.
that is really sad…. i’m thinking ryan o’neal too since he’s so unloved and supposed to be such a jerko.
Michael Caine?
Michael Caine has been happily married forever and I’ve never heard a bad word said against him. I think it’s Jerry Lewis.
Has to be someone unmarried. Ryan O’Neal was more of a 70′s guy.
I think it’s Peter O’toole.
“eccentric” is kind of a Brit word, and O’Toole isn’t married, so I like this guess. This is a very sad story.
To me, the picture looks a bit like Leonard Nimoy (and the ear is a focal point) but he’s married and I don’t think he has a rep for being a jerk.
It seems like the word ‘pretty’ might be a clue.
Bozo, big in the sixties and never married !
Wasn’t he in a relationship with Pee Wee Herman?
LMAO! Thank you both for my laugh of the day!
It’s got to be Jerry Lewis.
He’s even alienated from his own kids.
Well, you know, I keep thinking there had to be SOME reason that he was stripped not only of his MD telethon hosting gig but also the chairman role. I mean, he’s been pulling in money year after year after year, so why didn’t they just wait until nature took its course? (Not to be mean.) SOMETHING had to have happened…especially since the MD people took away the chairmanship too.
But, all of that being said, wasn’t his heyday in the 50′s? And wasn’t he known more for movies than tv (unless you’re counting the telethon as a role.)
Adam West couldn’t be alone since he can’t even fit in the same room with his ego. I don’t think Shatner because he is still pretty healthy. Reynolds doesn’t have the money for anyone to be hanging around for some. Lewis has the bucks and is known to be demanding, selfish and very eccentric. However, I think it might be Dick Van Dyke.
(My first post. Hello all!)
Hi Desert! Love, BG
lol For some reason that picture reminds me of Dudley Moore. And it took me some time to find that guy’s name since I couldnn’t remember his ‘big’ movie.
Dudley Moore died in 2002. If he had a fall in his kitchen several weeks ago I would have loved to see how that happened. However, before he died this would have been a really good guess.
I’m going to go with Adam West on this – I’ve heard he’s a giant a**hole IRL.
