[BlindGossip] This female star has certainly had her ups and downs. Her career has gone up and down and has expanded over more than one creative medium. She has dated at least three or four famous guys, has been married to and divorced from another celebrity, and is a tabloid staple. Depending on who you talk to and which day it is, she is either gorgeous or ugly. Well, we know one thing for sure: she is pregnant! She is seven weeks along, and you should expect the announcement within the next couple of weeks. She could wait longer, but she wants to avoid the criticisms about her fluctuating weight. She thinks it will be good for people to know that she “has a baby on board, rather than a burrito on board.” Both she and her partner are very happy about the pregnancy. Oh, and they will be getting married, although the wedding will now happen after the baby is born.

We told you that the announcement would come within two weeks! Don’t you feel smart that you knew about this before everyone else?

Blinders were evenly split between Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston, so half of you got it right! Libby480 was first, and Miss Chernobyl 2011 did a good job dissecting the clues:

At first I thought Aniston but the clues fit Jessica Simpson 100%

-”career ups and downs”…went from cover of Rolling Stone to getting booed at her “country music” concerts to being lauded for her successful fashion line

-”career expanded over more than one medium”…music (two genres!), tv, movies, reality show, fashion designer

-”dated atleast 3 or 4 famous guys”…John Mayer, Bam Margera, Dane Cook, Tony Romo, and Billy Corgan

-”depending on who you talk to and which day it is, she’s either gorgeous or ugly”, “wants to avoid criticisms about her fluctuating weight”….she’s ALWAYS being criticized about her weight. One day it’s “Jessica is looking svelte” and the next time you read about her, she’s being called a fat pig.

-”oh and they will be getting married…” Well the tabloids haven’t mentioned her engagement and upcoming wedding to Eric Johnson for some time so even I was wondering if they were still getting married. I guess they are!

Add in her marriage to Nick Lachey, her mysteriously delayed wedding to Eric Johnson, and the photo of a pregnant woman in jeans (a nod to her infamous Daisy Dukes and Mom jeans photos), and you’ve got a winner!

The Is She? or Isn’t She? speculation is over. In Touch Weekly can exclusively confirm Jessica Simpson is pregnant!

The 31-year-old singer recently attended the 32nd birthday party of her fiancé, Eric Johnson, where she sent back her glass of champagne for a birthday toast. As it turns out, the pair has something even better to celebrate. A source close to Jessica and Eric tells In Touch the couple is expecting their first child.

“She’s already having kooky cravings!” a friend shares, especially nacho chips dipped in chocolate — “which satisfy her urge for salty and sweet” — cheese-flavored popcorn and non-alcoholic margaritas.

Now, despite the fact that there will be one more “guest” (and that “Jessica might have to take out her dress a bit”), their plans to marry in November haven’t changed.

While it’s true that not everyone would consider the timing ideal, the friend says the couple considers the baby to be “the best wedding gift ever.” Luckily, she’s not due ’til spring, leaving them just enough time to be newlyweds before new parents.

Jessica Simpson has officially announced her pregnancy! She wanted to do it earlier, but Papa Joe just couldn’t cut a deal for her to get paid for the announcement. Jessica chose to break the news on Halloween, accompanied by the headline “It’s True! I am going to be a Mummy!” and the photo of her in a mummy costume holding her belly. Cute.

We we told at the time of the original blind that she was seven weeks along, so, according to our calculations, she is a little more than 12 weeks pregnant as of the official announcement, which puts her just inside her second trimester.

(Reuters) – Singer, actress and fashion mogul Jessica Simpson has finally put baby rumors to rest by confirming Monday that she is pregnant with her first child, in a statement posted on her official website.

“It’s True! I am going to be a mummy!” the singer wrote, alongside a photo of her dressed in a mummy costume for Halloween.

Simpson, 31, is currently engaged to former professional football player Eric Johnson, 32, whom she has been dating since May 2010. This will be the first child for the couple.

Simpson first rose to fame at age 19 with her debut album “Sweet Kisses” in 1999. She married singer Nick Lachey, of boy band 98 Degrees, in 2002 and the couple were the stars of MTV reality series, “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.” Simpson and Lachey divorced in 2006.

The “Dukes of Hazzard” actress has had a number of high-profile relationships including U.S. football player Tony Romo and Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan.

Simpson launched her “Jessica Simpson Collection” of clothing, handbags and shoes in 2007. The clothing line made $750 million in 2010, according to New York Magazine, and is projected to break the $1 billion sales mark this year, making it one of the most successful celebrity fashion brands.
