[BuzzFoto] This underage female star from a children’s network (not Disney) made the mistake of taking questionable photos of herself on her cellphone to send to a male coworker. Someone on set found them on her [phone] after snooping through her cell, and decided to turn her in. 617BWhen he turned her in to one of the execs, the exec fired the employee promptly for snooping. The fired employee thinks the photos were taken for the exec because of his reaction. 617

I’m going to guess Nickelodian as the network, and I’m going to support the exec for firing the snooping employee. Unless the employee knew something illegal (beyond taking “questionable” photos) was going on, the employee had no business invading the girl’s privacy; furthermore, the fire employee’s supposition over the fate of the photos is likewise inappropriate.
but if the fired snitch doesn’t know who they were being sent to, how does he know they were taken foro a male coworker? were they labeled ‘pics for male coworker’? also, I find it difficult to believe that someone picked up the cell phone of the “star” and perused its contents without anybody noticing, and then thought it would be a good idea to tell the boss about it. sounds more like someone got fired and then made up a story.
Sounds like the exec was Dan Schneider.
It’s always Dan Schneider. Pretty much the answer for any creepy NICK blind item.
As for the employee being fired for snooping. Yes, I agree with it. This person had no right or reason to do that. Despite what they saw on the phone. They illegally went thru a co-workers personal property. Now, that fired employee is perfectly in her right to call the authorities and tell them what they had seen. But that person absolutely should have been fired.
or it could be some one from Degrassi?
The picture reminds me of Gracie Dzienny who is on Nickelodeon’s show Supah Ninjas and is only 15.
I agree that the employee should have been fired. What if someone went through his personal stuff and invaded his privacy? Not ok. The only other children’s network that people would care for would be Nickelodeon, but I don’t know who this is about.
Ok, yes snooping is not cool, but underage photos is a FELONY. It constitutes child pornography. The person she’s sending them to can face jail time if someone doesn’t nip it in the bud.
The employee turned her in for having the photos on her own phone? How would they know what she intended to do with them, much less that she was going to send them to a coworker?
I am sure that on the set, plenty of gossip goes around, and this would be pretty juicy…maybe he heard rumors that so and so had sent pictures to someone and decided to confirm?
I’m a little puzzled by those who think his being fired was justified due to privacy issues. This is a child we’re talking about here, with what sounds like pornographic or nearly pornographic photos of herself on her phone, ready to be sent to a coworker. Would you want someone to ignore it if your daughter were involved? I surely wouldn’t!
I hope that he also contacted the police! Situations like this are how people like Lindsay Lohan get messed up initially!
Would you want an adult snooping through your child’s phone oogling her underage nudie shots? I surely wouldn’t!
If the guy in question had a concern, he could have gone to the parents or show. He was just being snoopy. I’m surprised he didn’t send them to his own phone and try to sell them!
The problem, amagod121, is that said former employee had no business snooping in the first place. What was found after the fact would be, as they say, inadmissible. I do agree that this child’s actions are an issue, but the firing was absolutely justified.
totally agree. she was rightfully fired for going through someone else’s phone. You can’t just go through someone else’s personal belongings. I bet this loser is pissed that she got fired and is starting this rumor about the executive as payback. But good riddance. this person would totally have gotten sacked at my job. and we can do pretty much anything including read blind gossip all day.
I guess my question would be why the employee was snooping in the first place. If they suspected that something inappropriate or illegal was going on and the snooping was to confirm it and have evidence of it then I can see why they might have snooped. But if it was just malicious snooping…
It does seem odd that the employee would be promptly fired and not just reprimanded.
No employee on a show is going to stay on set once they have violated the talent’s personal space. I’m sure that employee was not only fired, but blackballed from any future work for that station as well.
Talent comes first – even underage talent.
That being said, If this was a 16 year old kid at Burger King who had a co-worker take her phone and go to the manager with it – they’d probably have been fired, too.
Let me just say, I have a 2 and a 6 yr old, so Nick is on in our house way too much. The group “the Fresh Beat Band” had a female member that was recently replaced. The girl I’m talking about looks like an older version of the girl in the picture above.
But it could also be Dora LOLZ. Maybe she did the wrong kind of exploring – what a slut.
Just checked Wiki – the girl who was replaced in FBB is 21-22 yrs old – not underaged, but just barely.
I think the FBB gal is well into her 20s–mid to late 20s. Someone told me she left the show to try to have a baby with her husband.
There are a few in the cast of Victorious that are barely 18 and all probably right at the age to do that sort of stuff.
Victoria Justice.
I totally agree with you
Victoria is legal. Looked it up.
Nickelodeon kids are mostly 18-20.
That picture makes me think of Bella Thorne. Very similar smile. Which is just disturbing considering she is only 13.
