[BlindGossip] There are lots of rumors flying as to why this famous performer is switching professional teams. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not because she is jealous that another performer that the company reps is getting more attention than her. It’s because she and her boss got into a huge fight about her personal life.
You see, her former company did more than make her a professional success. When the performer ran into some serious trouble with an old beau, the company did everything possible to protect her and get her personal and professional life back on track. They exhibited tremendous loyalty to her to the point of alienating others in the industry.
And what does she do to thank them? Make questionable videos and try to get back together with the beau who almost ruined her career. Both of these actions are real slaps in the face to those at the top of their game who worked so hard to build and protect her career.
So they let her go. You can’t manage someone who is so determined to undermine her own success.

When Rihanna started making some noise about leaving JayZ’s RocNation last year, everyone thought that it was because JayZ was forcing her to take a break so all the focus would be on Beyonce’s baby and Beyonce’s new album. Nope.
It was actually because Rihanna didn’t like JayZ trying to control her love life. JayZ had spent several years taking Rihanna’s career to the next level (you might recall that her first big commercial hit was Umbrella with JayZ). He managed her to stardom, only to watch everything get thrown into turmoil when Chris Brown started beating on her. He helped to get her away from Chris Brown, get her healthy, and get her career back on track again.
Understandably, when JayZ found out that Rihanna was creeping around with Chris Brown again, he was furious. he asked her to stop, and she refused. Then she threatened to leave. Reports started popping up that she had fired JayZ. Lots of arguments and threats back and forth. As of today, she’s still at RocNation, but as long as she insists on seeing Chris Brown, this power struggle isn’t over yet.

I wouldn’t be surprised if within the next few years (or sooner) she’ll be known more for her dysfunctional personal life rather than her music. What a mess she’s getting herself into. And she has such raw talent, too. For good reason I have little sympathy but I still feel it’s such a shame.
Ton Braxton and her management team recently split. Her brother in law user to manage her but I guess his main focus is on Lady Gaga since she’s relevant right now.

Actually, Chris Brown’s career has rebounded pretty well, considering. They both have done better without each other. They need to continue to stay out of each other’s lives.

The only reason I guess her is because of her questionable videos (S&M, Man Down) and there have been rumors of her and Brown seeing each other behind closed doors. I wasn’t aware if she had switched management. Isn’t she under Jay-Z’s label?
I think the “questionable videos” they were referring to were sex tapes.
I think those videos are just as questionable. If you look back at the videos she made while under Jay’s lable, they are far more risque.

Of course this is Rihanna, but the questionable vid is she supposedly has a sextape with a rapper by the name of J Cole, which is also a Roc Nation artist and is also supposedly getting dropped soon. Seems to be this blind is a thinly veiled attempt to divert attention away from the fact that it is being said in some circles that Rihanna is very upset because Beyonce is pregnant by Jay, and Jay is upset because Rihanna slept with J Cole, his protege of sorts. Seems to be a lover’s spat…

She’s clearly still messed up from that relationship. She must have been pretty messed up to have participated in that relationship. She has been behaving so self-destructively. It’s sad. I still don’t like her, but I get it and remember, she’s still only 23…hardly an age at which young women are centered and confident.
I’m sorry for her too. Celebs are not adverse to making awful decisions in their lives. If her ex had displayed a modicum of sincere regret I think much of the public could be open to a reunion. As it stands Chris still has issues and comes across as a hateful maniac.

I think it’s possible if this mess is true that the ego that is Jay Z would not want it known that his protege had the audacity to leave him. Which is why this blind is worded to make sure that it is clear that it is THEY that dropped her. Sure it’s all hearsay but it has been rumored since early this year that she has been unhappy at being mismanaged by Roc nation. She should never have left her old manager, Marc Jordan. He was the one that fought for her when Def Jam (Jay Z was CEO at the time) wanted to drop her when her earlier albums were not selling as expected.

Anyone who hears Rihanna’s songs on the radio can hear plainly she likes and actually seems to prefer dangerous romances. And she likes danger and abusive, hardcore s*x according to almost every song she’s released for the past six years.
Well when you grow up in an abusive household, it’s more likely that you’ll seek out abusive relationships because it’s what you’re familiar with. I don’t really believe they’re back together (seriously, this story line’s getting to be as repetitive as all of those Brad/Angie breakup rumors in tabloids) but if so, I feel bad for her.
