[CDAN] This B list comedienne who has been in television and movies recently went off on a rant about Sci* in front of a group of people, not realizing that two belonged to the organization. When they started to challenge her on something, the comedienne had a light go off and asked if they were involved with it. They said yes and she told them to run for their lives and then walked away.

Way to go Kathy/Rosie if the answer to this blind is either of you.It’s about time someone spoke out about scientology, it’s a cult not a group, they are a joke.Scientology can’t cure homosexuality which a few actors Tom and John may think they can. They can hide your secrets and help you make poor decision when it comes to taking medical advice from experts instead of these people. One day scientology and all it’s followers and their secrets will be exposed.

Agree with the Silverman guess. Griffin is not B list. She’s lucky to be D list. Does’t she have that show, My Life On The D List or something? And I don’t think she’s done movies.
And Silverman’s show, The Sarah Silverman Program, ran on Comedy Cental which also constantly runs repeats of South Park.
That’s her schtick, but I’ve noticed her getting a lot more respect from the Hollywood community lately. I’m thinking she is now C-list.

totally agree that it’s silverman. and I would call her B list. she was one of the most high profile comediennes when her show first came out. way back when she was dating that other dude who has his own late night show. and she’s done movies in addition. plus she doesn’t hold back – can totally see her doing this. I think it’s Kirstie Alley, she may be off the Sc* band wagon and have the foresight to warn people to run. She’s funny (IE comedienne) and has been in movies and tv.

no no no coco… i think about twenty/thirty years ago when she first had her own late night show, joan rivers was B list. now she is a d on a good day. sarah silverman is A++++++ is joan rivers is B list.

just because you people don’t like someone, doesn’t make them D-list. kathy griffin has been nominated for multiple emmys (and won) and multiple grammy’s for her comedy albums. that hardly seems to be a “lucky to be D-lister”.
True, but I can’t think of any movies she has been in. I can’t think of any Sarah Silverman has been in either for that matter.
Besides, I don’t think either of those comediennes would stop ranting about Scientology just because there were some in the audience. If anything, they’d ramp it up.
I feel like it has to be someone who is more comfortable ranting behind someone’s back than in front of their face, someone who maybe hasn’t been on the stand-up circuit and who doesn’t know how to handle ‘hecklers’.
So maybe a funny actor, as opposed to a stand-up comedienne?
Silverman has been in plenty of movies. But it’s the “recent” part that I think throws a wrench in these Silverman/Griffin guesses.
