[LaineyGossip] It was instant attraction when they started rehearsals, despite the fact that he’s supposed to be happily married. On set flirtation, some touching in the trailer, soon became after work “prep time”, and heavy petting in the car, and before long it was a full blown affair.
May have been a method situation for him, which would surprise no one, but for her, even though she told herself this was a big girl, mature woman thing to do – take a co-star lover – of course she fell in love, although she obediently went back to her boyfriend and tried to shake it off he cut it off after three weeks as soon as his wife came over to stay. He seems to be able to pretend like it never happened. Which, naturally, is confusing her because she thought it was so real. Of course she did. As it happened, there was a break in the schedule and they haven’t had to work together for a while, much to the studio’s relief. These are big names on a big film with big expectation and there was already enough drama last time around. But shooting with everyone resumes again in a few days, and they’ll be sending an executive to stay around through the stretch to keep a close eye. Babysitting is exactly what it is.

That Lainey is a sly one. When Christian Bale’s name came up, Lainey said cryptically, “When it’s more than two weeks and less than four weeks it’s…” Three weeks? This let LaineyGossip followers know that Bale cheated with Anne Hathaway while working on The Dark Knight Rises.
They actually make a cute couple, but don’t expect any rekindling of their affections in the future. Both Anne and Christian are “happily married” to other people. So, if the question of a personal relationship ever comes up, don’t expect them to classify their relationship as anything more than “just friends”.

The Hunger Games…Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harrelson.
I guess I don’t think Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harrelson are big enough stars for this blind. Though the film is big, I wouldn’t exactly consider both of those actors big stars.
Harrelson’s been around forever and has huge notoreity; Jennifer Lawrence was nominated for an Oscar.

Although the Hunger Games guess seems to be the most popular on other sites, I like this Hathaway/Bale guess better. I presume the “heavy petting in the car” took place in the batmobile.
But Batman is an established franchise. No need for big expectations…it will smash box office records with ease.
There’s a lot at stake if HG doesn’t take off…it’s huge for LionsGate to have a marketable trilogy or even four films a la Twilight.

Yes. Bale and Hathaway. He is known for his method acting and totally getting into his roles and never leaving character during the entire shoot. Hence the line – May have been a method situation for him.

I take the “enough drama last time around” to refer to the last round of filming, when the affair began, not as in “this movie is a sequel”. I trust BG; if BG’s posting this and the Hunger Games blind together because they’re possibly the same, that feels like a “probably the same”. There are HUGE expectations for this film to fill the void where HP and Twilight have been with their multiple sequels and die-hard fandoms for films based on books – just like Hunger Games.
Also, Bale has better taste (ugh, do NOT approve of Hathaway and sexy in same sentence ever, let alone as Selina Kyle – travesty) and the gap is not nearly that bad. Is Hathaway dating anyone right now? Is she still with Adam?
I like Woody Harrelson for this – a lot. He’s in Friends With Benefits – “method acting”… Jennifer Lawrence is many years his junior and has a lot of quotes about people thinking she was too young for NYC, not gonna make it and be a big star, so she could see taking a lover as proof that she’s grown up and ready for Hollywood.
They two blinds from separate sites Lainey ran this blind yesterday and so did CDAN that doesn’t mean they are necessarily the same people. I think there are so many Hathaway clues in this. And yes she’s still with her boyfriend just like the blind whereas I don’t think Lawrence has one.

Actually I think you have it backwards — “last time around” refers to the last installment, not “round of filming.” It’s a modifier in a sentence about the film property itself (“big name, big expectations”). It’s not in a sentence about the affair. I believe it refers to Heath Ledger’s death.
Nope – as people have pointed out, Hunger Games was broken into two shoots weeks apart – district shots and the other ones (not familiar with the books). The blind talks about how they haven’t had to shoot together for a while and how relieved everyone, but shooting with everyone resumes soon and everyone’s freaking out because last time (the last shooting phase), there was so much drama. I teach English and that’s how it reads. Not that blinds are known for great grammar and style.
People are really getting misled. The drama has nothing to do with Ledger and Batman, and honestly, as sad as it was, Ledger’s passing proved a boost in ticket sales. No one at the exec level was freaking out about it like it was ‘drama’ – they were giddy.
That said, maybe it’s Donald Sutherland and Jennifer Lawrence… ick.

Yeah, Daily Mail published pics two days ago of Hathaway and Adam Shulman on a ‘romantic holiday’ in Capri. Side note: When I one day make it to Capri I hope to eat a Caprese salad that will knock my socks off; anything less than ‘life-altering’ would be disappointing.

This sounds like BatBale and Cathaway to me, but this blind also sounds a lot like CDAN’s Hunger Games blind, which makes me think it IS Harrelson/Lawrence.
I like Woody Harrelson but big name star just doesn’t seem to fit. It’s even less of a fit for Lawrence. On the other hand Bale and Hathaway are big name stars and this upcoming Batman movie has a lot of thing to prove. especially at the box office. The last one did a billion dollars worldwide and I’m pretty sure the studio is hoping for the same. Which is why an executive is being dispatched to make sure that no one screws with that possibility with some scandalous extra marital affair which would magically coincinde with the release of the movie and cause major embarassement to one and all.

Hmmm, thing about Lainey is that she tends to BI about people she writes about or gossip topics near and dear. If you read her blog, she’s been all over The Hunger Games( the book, the movie announcement, casting etc etc) from day one and Jennifer Lawrence is one of her new fave actresses.
Lainey hasnt really talked about Anne Hathaway in years and Bale is not someone she talks about either, and it seems the only reason she is even covering(barely) the new Batman movie is b/c of Thom Hardy.
And again, the clue reads like a much older man with a much younger woman, especially the tidbit about the set literally needing a babysitter. Pair this BI with the timing of BG’s Hunger Games BI and to me, all signs point to Hunger Games.

I think plum is correct. Lainey usually leaves clues in her other articles and she made a reference to the horrible Catwoman movie in another article either the day she posted the blind or the following day. Oh, and she has posted several articles about Hathaway for her upcoming film One Day.
The picture reminds me of a young Antonio Banderas currently shooting “She Loves Me” with Deborah Ann Woll. The title leads right into a method situation and Melanie would “come over” from Europe.
I’m just going to say that the cast of the Batman sequel includes several Oscar winners and nominees in Supporting Roles and there were pics of the cast flying in to do the second part of shooting this week. There are much bigger names and higher expectations for the Batman sequel for the Hunger Games which biggest name is Woody Harrelson who as likeable as he is-isn’t an A-list actor. Cheers was in the 80′s.
OK For something different I’ll say Robert Downey Jr and Scarlett Johanson aren’t they filming The Avengers together now? I would say he is a method actor, she is much younger than him and since it’s over with Sean Penn maybe she’s moving on to the next award winner
I don’t know if Lainey meant Hathaway in this blind, but if she did, she should know that the reason Bale “ditched” Anne is not his wife “who came over there” (she was always there, thus the petting in the car, why, if they needed to have sex and there was no wife around, they didn’t have a hotel room?) but his infatuation with Cotillard. He is -platonically- in love with her since “Public Enemies” days and now he has to work with her more (and his wife remained back in LA while he’s in Pittsburgh now), is courting her heavily. And Marion is VERY flattered..We’ll see how it goes..I’m very curious..
