[EOnline] Hostess with the mostess Anita Sunshine is known for her strong views and mostly cheery disposition.
And while the chatty Kathy has been known to spar with her fellow showmates, nothing has ever been this big of an issue behind the scenes of the chatfest.
Well, until now, that is.
You see, these très-loyal cohosts used to be practically inseparable, even hanging out when the cameras stopped rolling! But it appears the glory days are over…
Turns out Anita’s cohost wants to move on to greener pastures—ya know, pastures without Anita.
Oh and by greener, you bet your ass we mean money-wise. Anita’s friend turned frenemy is looking at cashing in a serious paycheck if the next gig works out right. We’re talking big-time Hollywood bucks here, peeps.
And Anita ain’t happy about it!
In fact, she’s downright pissed. And so is the rest of the show’s team, who feel like Anita’s right-hand guy or gal will be deserting everything they have built together.
But Anita’s partner in crime already has one foot out the door, so it’s just a matter of time before we hear what network this personality will be popping up on next!
We would watch out tho, Anita may seem all sugar and spice, but we wouldn’t put it past this broad to seek some sort of revenge.

As Kelly’s predecessor was Kathy Lee Gifford, I wonder if the “chatty Kathy” reference is a cowinky-dink.
I love kelly ripa, but she doesn’t exactly have strong views on…..well, anything!

Well I was with the Kelly Ripa guess until i re read and saw “strong views”. First off, The View. Second off, Elisabeth Hasselbeck is a staunch Republican.
So I say Elisabeth.
Agreed. Has to be Elisabeth and the network is Fox News.
1) Glenn Beck no longer has a show. Hence there is an opening.
2) Fox News really needs a female opinion show to balance O’Reilly/Hannity etc. Elisabeth would do wonders to help mainstream the network.
3) Murdoch has the cash and this is exactly the sort of thing he would be willing to pay in the tens of millions for.
But if Elisabeth is Anita, the blind says that her COWORKER is leaving, not her. ???

It sounded like Hasselbeck in the beginning — but the rest of the blind made it seem like it was a talk show duo. Not a panel like the View.

Tres is very in French. It’s also three in Spanish… might be a double whammy choosing to use that French term.
True, but in the blind, “tres” is written with an accent grave, which is clearly French. Still, you may be right that it could mean either.
However, lh8990 pointed out below that Kathie Lee was born in Paris — hence the French “tres”? — AND Anita Bryant was her mentor, hence the “Anita” in the blind. I think it’s KLG!
Okay, I felt like I followed this until it mentioned Anita’s “right-hand guy or gal”. I definitely think this is about a former pair of friends from The View, but that bit seems to be about Anita’s personal assistant? If so, for what purpose?
This is actually the first time I’ve been confused by Ted’s phrasing, although I know many think he’s confusing always.
“Anita” sounds like Barbara Walters. Seems like she was grooming Elizabeth Hasselbeck to take over once she retired.
But, The View doesn’t cater to EH’s political views. Fox does. And they offer big money.
And who would not take this lying down? Someone known ,in the past, for taking revenge. Guess who?

I don’t think it’s The View – none of the cohosts would care that much if * left. Maybe Hoda is the one who’s leaving & Kathy Lee is the one who wants revenge. My other guess is someone on The Talk. Anita Sunshine = Sharon Osbourne? I could see Julie Chen moving on to other things, as well as Leah Remini or Holly Robinson Peete.

Kathie Lee was either born or conceived in France (as the story goes) so I think the ‘tres’ is a nod to her, though I did feel thta the story was about Ripa when I first read it.

I don’t see Elisabeth hanging out with Baba Wawa off set though. I actually can’t imagine any of the other View women hanging with BW, period. lol

It does sound like Anita could be Elisabeth…but she is not the one moving on to greener pastures. She is the one wanting revenge. Would E really care if Joy (most likely IMO) left The View? She wouldn’t be the first to leave. Maybe Regis isn’t retiring, but rather lining up another project? No idea why…”Live” has to be the cushiest job around. Not sure about the KLG/Hoda guess…they really haven’t built much together, more barely hold the last hour of Today together (and I can’t see the rest of the cast caring). I’m stumped!
