[BuzzFoto] This actor has a lovable scar on his face that no one knows the origin of. Except our source who says it comes from his first marriage when his wife found out he was sleeping with his costar and she through [sic] a champagne glass at him.

harrison ford?
Which would make Carrie Fisher the other lady…? I don’t think it’s there in the original Star Wars, but it seems to be in pictures from Return of the Jedi.
Hmmm, I could be wrong on closer inspection. I think he’s already got it by the Star Wars: A New Hope. Let’s hope if it’s Harrison Ford, the co-star in question wasn’t Mackenzie Phillips from American Graffiti.
Harrison & Carrie were “on” during the filming of the original Star Wars. I also thought he got it during his carpentry days (ditto MzDb).
His scar’s from when he was doing construction. Way before Star Wars…
I guess I heard wrong. Apparently he tried to “buckle up” while already driving a car and lost control. This was back in 1968. Maybe even before that movie he was in (I can’t remember the name) but he was a train conductor or something.
Ray Liotta?
Acne scars, I believe.
Harrison Ford?
Harrison Ford?
Harrison Ford
And I hate to be “that gal,” but it’s “threw a champagne…” not “through.”
I hate to be “that gal” too, but that’s why BG has the [sic]
[sic] —when added just after a quote or reprinted text, indicates the passage appears exactly as in the original source. The usual purpose is to inform readers that any errors or apparent errors in the copied material are not from transcription—that they are reproduced exactly from the original writer or printer.
In other words, they know it’s incorrect, but have reprinted it as it was originally written.
(Sic) means that the publisher knows the spelling is wrong. Could be a clue, or how it appeared in the original post.
I don’t think it’s a clue. When this blind was first posted, it was just the spelling error was the only thing there. BG added the “[sic]” afterwards (And as a heads up, Clare made her comment before the [sic] was added as well).
Harrison Ford
It can’t be Harrison Ford. He already had that scar when he had his first starring role. Who else has a scar?
But the blind said his “First” wife. We do not know when Harrison Ford first was married.
He was first married in 1964. It says that on imDb.
Harrison Ford?
I have seen a few explanations of Harrison Ford’s scar, but they don’t match up. His first marriage broke up in the 19070s. I’ll go with him.
Bruce Willis
Harrison Ford!
dermot mulroney
Errrrr ‘threw’. No guess. Got distracted by Buzz Photo’s poor grammar.
I think this may be Harrison Ford…..only one that I can think of that has a scar visible
Maybe Dermot Mulroney (has a prominent scar on his lip) from his first wife who is also an actress?
First post – love BG!! Thank you for getting me through countless hours of soul crushing lectures!
Welcome, Krysi! Don’t let them crush your soul! Love, BG

Harrison Ford??

Harrison Ford
Here is a link to a website that has a pic of his scar and about how it (the scar)was in the movie Indiana Jones too:
http://www.skinema.com/Act2Scars.html
Indiana Jones was first filmed in 81 so it has to be this wife that did it:
Mary Marquardt (18 June 1964 – 1979) (divorced) 2 children
Brad Pitt
my first guess too….
I think his scars are from bad skin in his younger days. Just my opinion, but that’s what it looks like to me.
2nd this. His scars look like they’re from cystic acne.
I do not remember Brad having a scar. Plus the blind states a first wife, which means that there is a second wife…and Brad and Angie are not married.
viggo mortensen..has a story about his scar coming from a drunken fight when he was 17. Or Harrison Ford maybe
I thought Viggo Mortensen but he had the scar on his lip in his first movie, Witness, and he got married about 3 years after the movie.
Christian Slater’s wife threw a glass at him once….did it leave a scar?
I think the Ford guess is too easy…. But i don’t really have an alternative.
Likely Harrison Ford. Originally people said it was from learning how to use the whip in the Indiana Jones movies. Also? More likely he was sleeping with someone in American Graffiti (it would also fit the timeline better if he had the scar in the first Star Wars movie).
I don’t think it is Harrsion. He had it in Star Wars, it was his “thing” that made him famous. He got it being bit by a dog or bit by something else.
Didn’t Ford already have the chin scar in Star Wars? And I’m also pretty sure that there was already a decent explanation for it. I just think he might be a little too obvious, I guess.
Pitt’s scars are from bad acne as a teen/
Harrison Ford’s scar is on his chin, not his cheek as in the photo. Maybe that doesn’t really matter.
However, I read an interview with Ford a VERY long time ago in which he said he got it in a car accident when he was 19 or so. If I recall, it happened on Highway 133 which goes from Interstate 5 to Laguna Beach. I think he said that, at the time, he was working as a carpenter.
Yup! I think it was Harrison Ford. He filmed Hanover Street with Lesley Anne Down, who he was rumored to have an affair with. His marriage to his first wife broke up shortly after that.
Photos of Harrison Ford shooting Hanover Street show an old-ish scar even then. There is no fresh evidence of a champagne glass in 1979.
Really sounds like Harrison Ford. Maybe he was sleeping with Richie Cunningham on the American Graffiti set?
Joaquin Phoenix??
Never married. I do wonder how he got that scar though.
i always assumed he was born with cleft lip and the scar is from the repair?
he says it’s not but I think it is.
I do remember reading that Ford got the scar from his seat belt during a car accident in the late 60′s or early 70′s. I believe he had it even during his first acting jobs. So unless that is a complete lie, it’s not him.
