Mika and Joe Scarbroughon Morning JOE. Big shocker! She’s annoying and yet, he was perfectly OK with giving her a portion of his salary to “iron out the bad feelings” she harborded this week when MSNBC wanted to give her far less pay and a possible boot out the door. Guess book sales aren’t doing all that well are they Mika? And Joe seemed all too happy happy to divey out the extra bucks to “keep her”

Well ‘news anchor’ seems to be just the big three at 6:30. So maybe Brian Williams?
I think because this is a NY Post piece, it could refer to one of the national affliate anchors…WCBS, WNBC, FOX or WABC. I’d lean towards a woman since the vice seems to leave out gender…let’s say Rosanna Scotto of Good Day NY or that idiot Darlene Rodriguez of NBC. Her husband is a sleaze who was accused of statutory rape a few years back.
I hoping it’s Liz Cho of Channel 7 ABC.
For something different, how about Diane Sawyer? She’s married to Mike Nichols. I’m sure there are a lot of male news assistants.
