A breakup with another celebrity in the past hasn’t turned off this actress to the possibility of marriage. Everyone thinks she is eager for her current beau to propose. Not true. While they make a photogenic couple and she does love him, she is the one stalling. There are two reasons. The first is that she is still cautious about marrying the current guy following a rocky period in their relationship. The second reason is that her ex and his current relationship are having problems. Our actress is hoping that they break up sooner rather than later, so she can swoop in and reclaim her ex.

BTW – It cracks me up that so many people think Pitt and Jolie are on the verge of breaking up. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY really knows what’s going on in Jolie-Pitt Land. Ted Casablanca can publish all the bull he wants, but that clown can’t even get into Jolie or Pitt movie premieres anymore – that’s why he’s always taking digs at Jolie. The two of them have cut leaks to a bear minimum. The media doesn’t know a damned thing about them that they don’t want known. That’s why the tabloids have to make up stories every week. Otherwise Pitt and Jolie have had 83 babies and 47 weddings in about 3 1/2 years!

John Mayer is no more interested in marrying Jennifer Aniston than he was Jessica Simpson. Mayer is little more than Aniston’s current employed boyfriend for the year while she pushes her cheesy and hysterically bad romcoms. She’s got 1 movie she pimped at TIFF because she didn’t have a distributor…she finally got some small-time distributor and the movie will most likely go straight to DVD. She’s got another movie with Aaron Eckhart that doesn’t have a distributor either and she’s currently scouting for one. She’s got a movie with Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Connelly that comes out in February that’s supposedly so bad the studio, who’s already pushed the release date back 2 times, is talking about pushing it back a thrid time. She’s got another stupid romcom about cougars that she can’t get any studio to fund. She took 2 movie projects from Plan B when Pitt forced her out of the company after their divorce – and she can’t get either of those greenlit because she’s box office poison.
Plus, the NY Post reported last week that her agents at CAA were calling around trying to find her a boyfriend so she wouldn’t be single when the dog movie came out. Ergo, hired boyfriend John Mayer is the current Vince Vaughn. Mayer just so happens to be another CAA client…who a few weeks after reuniting with Aniston unexpectedly announced a CBS variety show for their 2009 season. Coincidence? Not in Hollywood.
