I sincerely hope not. She’s been getting raves for The Closer for years, and he’s been doing squat (I’ll have to take a look at IMDB). So maybe he’s been sitting home fuming… If it is them – Kevin should get off his butt and start making some serious movies, and start picking better ones! He’s too good to not eventually get himself an Oscar.

William H. Macy isn’t a B actor IMO.
I agree on principle, but I looked it up and he hasn’t won an Oscar despite being nominated several times. He did win an Emmy but I don’t think that quite qualifies? Not really sure.

No Courtney and David are only separated no divorce papers were filed. So I am guessing she’s finally decided to make it official.

i too first thought kyra and kevin but there was an interview recently where macy [who plays a huge drunk in shameless] admitted that this was the role he was born to play…
I can see Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick as a possibility, but I hope it’s not true. They stuck it out after Bernie Madoff made off (I REALLY am sorry, I don’t know any other words to use.) with their money…but it’s also possible that Kevin Bacon started drinking more as a result?

Unless Kyra was lying through her teeth, she recently said in an article that they have two rules in their marriage…something like no divorce and and cheating. Can’t remember exactly. I hope it isn’t them.
Sadly, Courtney and David also said they had a “no divorce” rule in their marriage, too. I guess one can only take so much. I hope it’s not them, either, though.
I remembered that quote too because it was funny and true. It was “Keep the fights clean and the sex dirty!” I like both of them a lot and its too bad that things are not working out for them

Okay this would absolutely shock me, hope it’s not true. It would give CDAN some much needed credibility, but I still hope it’s not true.
Awww. Oh, no. I am really sad about this, I guess. Kevin Bacon is the single solitary actor I have always adored (and Kyra is OK in my book). I’ve always pictured them as happy, living in a quaint Connecticut farmhouse. Now that their kids are grown, The Closer is ending, maybe the empty nest/loss of money/lack of RECOGNITION from H’Wood for all his good work over the years – aww, this is just too bad. (and just last week I read a peppy interview with him in some newspaper). I wish them well, what’s to be is to be.
It kinda makes sense when Kyra gave the reason for ending the Closer, was to be home with her family. Maybe she thought she could work on fixing her marriage. So sad, they seemed like a great couple. And both kids are off to college now. I read an interview recently she gave, and of course, she was saying how happy they are. You just never know.
Kevin won a Golden Globe for his role in Taking Chance, a very touching movie for HBO, I think it was.
But he looks like hell. Alcoholism is written all over his face. Such a shame.
