NewYorkPost – Which celebrity chef has had his reputation put at risk by the penny-pinching owners of an Upper West Side bar and restaurant who have left the kitchen so bereft of fresh bread that patrons have been served aging scraps?

Bobby Flay? He’s got the burger places and ain’t nothing worse than stale buns!
Eww, that’s gross.
gordon ramsay? hes having legal issues? but flay is also a good guess
I feel like this is Ramsey. Or the guy from hells kitchen? Doesn’t seem like Flay would be unprofessional like that.
That’s why I thought it was him…it says putting his reputation at risk. Let’s face it, Ramsays an a hole so nothing about him would surprise me.
Oh yeah. You have a point there.
I’m thinking Ramsey.
If this is Ramsey this would be so ironic, considering how he criticizes people for doing this sort of thing.
I was thinking of that, myself.
Anyone know if Emeril “bam” lagassi has a place there?
For some reason this screams Rocoo Dispirto to me.
It has to be someone who works in a restaurant owned by someone else, as the blind implies. That would eliminate Rocco DiSpirito and Bobby Flay. Not sure about Ramsay, though.
It doesn’t say the chef owns the place.
That said, I have no clue which chef it would be working at the restaurant.
This would be a chef who does not own the restaurant he cooks at. “Which celebrity chef has had his reputation put at risk by the penny-pinching OWNERS…”
Hmmmm. Anthony Bourdain does not own Les Halles. . . but I don’t think he cooks there anymore.
Wait, so.. the blind is worded as if the chef and the bar are separate. Read it again.. The CHEF has had his rep put at risk because of the OWNERS of the bar. What does the chef have to do with the bar owners???? This has to be Ramsey. Maybe he gave a bar a makeover and its worse now? Otherwise, this makes no damn sense.
Mario Batali?
