I think it was last year when it was public she had a lot of debts. So this might be her.
I think this is the answer. She owed a large chunk to the IRS and other creditors. Plus, she has been acting for many years and has a big range of projects (from Mermaids to even Ally McBeal), it would not surprise me if she had amassed a small fortune if she invested well. Or didn’t blow it another way.
