This B/B + actor has an authority problem. He’s in a big buzz movie that will be coming out next year but he is at risk for losing his job because he argues with everyone on the set, mainly the big-name director. He’s such a know it all, production is debating ripping up his contract and making him leave. The crew is secretly getting back at him by playing subtle pranks on him. His clothes are moved or missing, he ends up getting food he didn’t order, etc. 468

If we are going to guess someone from the new Spiderman movie, I’m going to go with Denis Leary. I would consider him B/B+ and he’s got quite an abrupt personality.

My first thought was Christan Bale because he went off on the annoying, incompetent guy ruining his focus during a serious scene. But I doubt it’s him. He seems highly respected and wouldn’t want to risk his upward rise in the industry. Then again, one never knows. I like him though and hope he’s not the one.
On second thought, Batman is a comic book character and the pic could easily pass as Bale.

Yeah, and if someone does something enough times, you’re going to go off on them. I defend Bale on that one. Don’t distract an artist while they’re trying to work.
If I recall correctly, a few people who worked with the guy Bale went off on said the dude had it coming for a long time. While some members of the public may have been surprised, there seemed to be some support for him within the industry.

Yes, the Dark Knight rises is scheduled to come out in 2012. My understanding, though, is that he and Christopher Nolan (the director) have a good relationship.

The Hobbit hasn’t started filming yet. As for Ian McKellen being the prima donna, his reputation is for being the exact opposite. Generally agreed to be a very nice guy, and all the stories of the LOTR movie were of a happy and close cast and crew.

Could “next year” be like “in the next year”, in which case Nov. 2011 would work? Probably a stretch. David Fincher is certainly a big-name director and this is a totally buzzed-about movie… and Daniel Craig has been going through some tumultuous personal times w/ his breakup and then hookup with Rachel W., so his being difficult could be quite likely…
Russell Crowe or Justin Timberlake. Both are in movies next year but I wouldn’t consider any of the films to be “big buzz” movies.

Zach Galifianakis? He’s the bearded guy from The Hangover and the one who already got Mel Gibson fired from the the second movie that is coming out this year. I could see that going to his head and thinking that now he should be able to have a say in everything that is going on. He also seems like a know it all.
When I quickly read this, it read like:

He’s filing Gary Marshall’s “New Years Eve” starting Robert DeNero, Hillary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hale Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Zac Efron among others.
I hope it’s Ashton. Because he comes across as a pretty controlling or at least, a strongly manipulative type. Maybe gaining a reputation as one that’s difficult to work with will humble him.
Also, if it is Ashton, years of doing the show Punked gives the crew an added incentive to play a game that’s near and dear to his heart. If it were me, I’d secretly rejoice that he’s getting a taste of his own medicine.
I like this guess too, but probably because I don’t like him. Seems arrogant and to think he’s untouchable.
That’s the whole impression I got off of him when he did Punk’d. Some of the pranks were funny, but some were just not cool at all.

I really like the Jeremy Renner or Ryan Reynolds guesses. I’d lean more towards Renner. He’s got clout and I’d say he was B or B+ list. Reynolds may be more of a B+/A- list.
