Princess Powder-Puff, the put-upon young star hasn’t exactly had an easy time of it with the fame game. Dr*gs have been a staple for the talented girl, let’s be honest. If you had her high-pressured life, you’d probably resort to chemical add*ction, too, right?
Well, that combined with your mom scr*wing your friends, and you probably would…
Yep, right after PPP had one of her infamous moody incidents (covered widely by the media), everybody blamed the pretty chick for getting too whacked out on myriad dr*gs. That’s partly true.
But get this: The main reason Powder-Puff went on that particular bender was because she’d just found out that one of her longtime friends and business associates had been seduced by her own damn mom!
This was a very hard blow for Ms. Powder-Puff. She had always hearted (big-time) this particular dude, who’s sweet, good-looking and—most importantly—truly cares for Princess. And she had also gotten her hopes up.
See, Puff’s never had much luck with the dudes. And yet she’d finally wrestled herself out of her latest bad relationship with a skeezy guy, and thought she’d take her friend/slash biz guy up on an oft-implied romantic interest. Ya know, maybe finally settle down with a good-hearted, sensible type.
But just as PPP was considering how to shyly go about it, in swoops Princess’s momager! Like she’s some kind of older Angelina Jolie, or something!
It was also doubling devastating to Princess, because she and the woman who birthed her always had a jealous thing going on. Ever since they both embarked on the fabulously wholesome world of child entertainment together, mom never entirely concealed how much she wanted to get in on Princess’s money, sweat and fame. And Princess had always sort of brushed it aside.
Well, not after that, she didn’t.
The two barely speak now. And folks have no idea why.
Uh, now they do.

ooooh after a bit of research, i definitely agree with the britney guess. wow, lynne, not cool.
with each and every blind, it becomes more and more apparent that hollywood really is a town that has no footing in reality. its so sad that some parents lose their desire to actually be parents and would rather instill the values of fame and fortune than dignity, altruism and self respect. what young stars NEED is parental guidance and a sense of normalcy to come home to. they would thank their parents in the long run.

If it’s Britney, what is the recent “moody incident” that was “widely reported” to have been caused by drugs? And it hasn’t been reported that she and Jason broke up. They’re always seen together, so they seem to still be dating. Plus, it’s never been suggested that Jason was a bad influence on her, if anything he seemed to be stabilizing for her.
It’s the head-shaving incident. This is from a few years back and does not necessarily have to be Jason Trawick. A more popular guess has been Larry Rudolph. Although he’s not what most would consider attractive.
@Faye, Kelley, Gossip Fanatic: I agree with everything you all are saying. It makes perfect sense that this would be Britney. I always wondered what the mother did to cause her to serve notice, as she did. I never thought that was about Britney Spears being out of control, rather very much in control. She had been in the biz since childhood, mom pulled all the puppet strings and Britney was her paycheck.

Unless I’m misreading, the blind doesn’t say anything about these events being recent. The moody incident would obviously be the head-shaving, car-bashing extravaganza, and the bad influence would be that sketchy paparazzi dude with the landing strip on his face who claimed to be her manager for a while.
Ted is referencing a past incident, not a current one. It reads to me that he just found out the reason for the odd incident that took place in the past. My guesses are below:

I think this is Britney because we rarely see her mom in public plus I wondered why her dad was always the one to help her out (like be the conservatory). Maybe that’s why the parents broke up but now they are back together; maybe the Dad forgave her.
The part about “never having much luck with the dudes” seems like it would be someone older than Demi who is 18. Being that young it would be no surprise that she hasn’t had any steady relationships with good young men.

This is my first time posting.
I really don’t think it’s Demi. I was thoroughly convinced, because of the PPP thing and all, but Demi and her mom haven’t stopped talking. She went home (from rehab) for Christmas, so they obviously still have to be talking.
I’m confused though, because most of the clues point towards Demi… can’t wait for this one to be solved!
