getting ready for an upcoming awards show, this B list, aging musician literally ripped her dress to shreds at a fitting when she tried it on. She was upset because it was too tight, but what she was really venting were her frustrations that she had gained weight. Two months prior, she had tried on the dress and it fit. When she tried it on later and it was too small, she got so angry she ripped it to pieces in front of the designer. 464

Could this be Christina? She is still young, but many people have been saying that her looks are rapidly going downhill as she gets older. She has also gained a bit of weight recently. She seems like she would do this… She is known to be a diva with an attitude. I don’t see any actual clues about her in this blind, but the picture might be one.

Yes, I also think this is Whitney. She is definitely not down to 125 lbs. I just saw a recent pic of her and although she’s not chubby, she’s flabby and she’s got quite a belly on her now.
I gained 10 lbs over the holidays and right now my jeans are so tight I could cut a beeyotch. I just wore these jeans comfortably two weeks ago so now I’m pissed!

If she had a successful comeback then I would’ve agreed with you. I think at this point she is a B-list singer with A-list name recognition. She’s lucky she didn’t smoke herself into C or D-list oblivion.

No, but compared to how young she was at the start of her fame and her peak, it is easy to compare it to “aging”
absolutely. she was a teen star. now she is a washed up divorced mom. she is known only for telling the world that doing it with her troll husband in a nurse outfit was great and bombing in her only movie and having to cancel a tour since they could only sell a fraction of the tix.
she put on weight and she has a temper (like a lot of abuse victims). ever see her lose her composure during an interview bc the interviewer coughed twice? she could not concentrate on the question, asking twice with a glaring smile how he could possibly cough during her interview.
yup, fame is a wonderful thing.
My first thought was Xtina. I know she’s not “old” or “aging” but she just seems like the type to do this.

I also think it Christina. There are two guys in the picture like the husband and new boyfriend she is living with. Also I believe the new boyfriend may be blond and the husband/ex has dark hair. She has gained a ton of weight in the last 6 months (remember those leaked photos of her were only about 6 months old and she looked pretty thin.) First time Poster but long time lurker:)

That pink dress she wore at the People’s Choice awards definitely revealed her weight, but what I love about her is that it looked as if she didn’t give a sh*t.
OMG…that corset top thing she wore when the show opened. Who told her it was okay to wear that? Her belly was hanging over her jeans. And she later buttoned her blazer, thank goodness.
Highly doubt it- Dana is known to be nice and very down-to-earth. My extended family has worked in the film industry for decades (behind the scenes) and have said she is the kindest actress in Hollywood, which come to think of it isn’t saying much

I’d guess that Cher is an eternal A-lister because she won an Oscar for MOONSTRUCK (deservedly so, she’s was excellent in it). And wouldn’t she just happily get any unwanted lumpiness cut off or sucked out? Lady ain’t ‘fraid of the knife.
Xtina just turned 30 like three weeks ago. She’s gained a lot of weight, but I wouldn’t say she’s “aging.” I would interpret aging as middle-aged and beyond.

Cher is permanent A+ list, and despite being very dedicated to doing everything possible surgically to turn back time, she has been past the “aging” category for quite some time and is firmly in “aged.”

I’m with you on the distinction between musician and singer. I really don’t see it being Christina (for that reason) OR Sheryl Crow, because I’ve only heard good things about the latter’s disposition. I just can’t fathom a Sheryl Crow diva-freak-out moment.
Having said that, I’m pretty much at a loss for any kind of useful guess! I suppose any moody or vain 1980s still-making-albums/still on tour/still filling seats/still getting invited to awards shows musician could fit this bill.

I’ve read about this happening with some star back in old Hollywood days – maybe Kim Novak or Joan Crawford. Wardrobe people showed her her costume for a movie, star did.not.like. and ripped costume to pieces in contemptuous silence. Just because she was, you know, A Big Star, and COULD behave like an *. Poor wardrobe people, of course, got it in the neck from the producer and were yelled at to ‘make it right’. Despicable, just despicable.

no, it’s not considered aging, at least not in the real world of us regular folk
but in the industry where pop stars are usually in their late teens, early to mid twenties, 30 would probs be considered “aging”
I think “aging” is a very subjective term. I personally interpret it to mean you are beginning to show signs of age or your looks are starting to go. Example, Lindsay Lohan at 23 was “aging” but I wouldn’t consider January Jones (who is 33) to be “aging”.
As long as you take care of yourself (eat right, exercise, get enough sleep, and manage your stress), you’ll be doing fine

I would think people like Madonna, Cher and Whitney might be described differently than as an “aging musician.” I consider them all icons in some way, even if they don’t have current stuff out. I would be sad if this is Queen Latifah because she looks great at any size. I know she hosted the People’s Choice Awards. Mary J. Blige was also there, but she looks fantabulous.
