CDAN – A
nother small, but nice kindness. It has been raining for what seems like forever in Los Angeles, but has only been this week. Yesterday was probably the worst it has been. Anyway, this C- list actress who is on one of the biggest network television shows of all time (although she was a latecomer to the series) was driving home yesterday in this monsoon when she saw a car that was on the side of the road. A woman was standing outside looking under her hood in the rain and our actress decided to stop and see if she could help. Well, it turns out the woman was standing there and had three of her kids in the car, including one in a car seat. The woman did not have a cell phone. Our actress called a tow truck driver for the car, and then gave the entire family a ride home all the way on the other side of LA. In the rain. Our actress even gave the obviously struggling woman a few hundred dollars to help pay for the tow and the repairs.

Heather Morris?
I don’t know but whoever it is, I agree that it shouldn’t be a blind. Need to know who these good samaratins are so we can support them.
Is that Britney from glee? My first thought too. I heart her character.
She wasn’t a late comer to Glee. She’s been on since the first season, but her role has been upgraded a bit.
Actually, Heather did join the Glee cast late. She came halfway into the first season. She was brought on originally just to teacher Chris Colfer the Single Ladies dance, and eventually was made a character.
She sings “say a little prayer” with Quinn and Santana in the 2nd episode.
First person i thought of too!!
These items should be revealed love these acts of kindness.
Chyler Leigh, she plays Lexie Grey on Grey’s Anantomy
I have no idea, but what a nice thing to do! It is always a risky thing to do (to let a stranger into your car) but there is a time and a place. Way to go. Tis the season?
btw Merry Christmas everyone!
Sarah Chalke, with the series being “Roseanne”?
Mmmmmm perhaps but isn’t Chalke higher than C-?
“Biggest network shows of all time” implies to me that this is an actress from a hit show that has ended its run. I doubt that “Glee” or any newer show would be this actress’ show. Having said that, though, I have no guesses… The word “woman” is used an awful lot in this one, so I am guessing that the word is a clue.
“who is on one of the biggest network television shows of all time”, I would think “is on” means is currently on, otherwise it would say “was on”.
eva larue on csi:miami?
Big guess… Raven-Symone (hit being the Cosby Show)
Kirstie Alley
that’s exactly who i thought of!! has to be an old show to be considered on of the “biggest shows of all time”.
that’s who i thot, too. Cheers was huge.
yeah Kirstey was my guess. that was nice of her it sounds like something she woudl do.
I take it back it says on the show not was on the show (the blind implies the show is still on the air)
Kirstie Alley? Cheers being the show?
The BI says that the C-list actress is on one of the biggest network television shows of all time. It’s still on the air.
If it had finished it’s run the BI would have used past tense.
That is a good point… I didn’t pick up on that!
Ellie Kemper, The Office.
Great guess.
That was my first thought as well (loooooooooong time peeper, first time poster
)
this is exactly who came to mind for me too, although I didn’t know her name.
no idea.. but pretty girl in the photo haha!
How about Sara RamÃrez (Callie) from Grey’s, she joined late.
I agree with the others I wish BI like this weren’t blind.
What about Emma Caulfield or Michelle Trachenberg. Buffy was huge – neither were original cast. Emma I’d def accept as C-. There doesn’t seem to be any real clues.
Michelle trachtenberg is a beyotch in real life. Not her for sure.
Emma’s not though!
Long running hit show that is still on the air.
Someone from the original CSI, the DNA lab chick maybe.
Liz Vassey, that the one I’m thinking of.
Cote de Pablo from NCIS, just for shizz & giggles.
First person I thought of… she seems to fly under the radar, but NCIS is big, yes?
Happy Holidays from a first-time poster! Thanks for all the fun you give us all year round, BG!
I’m going to go with Ellie Kemper (Erin) from The Office. She seems like a very genuine person.
could be her…. Ellie is totally darling IRL- genuine is a good descriptor. She fits the bill too. However, I don’t know if The Office is one of the biggest hits of all time though. (Though it is in my opinion…)
I’d say someone from ER. Who joined the show in the later years?
That’s exactly the show I thought of, so many people came and went. The actress that played Velma in Scooby-Doo?
linda cardinelli
I would go with Kellie Martin if the blind didn’t say that she’s still on the show.
I was going to say Parminda Nagra, but there aren’t really enough clues to say for certain.
I’m gonna go with Kim Raver, who came to Grey’s late in the game.
I am going with Kim Raver too from Grey’s. She is pretty C- and she seems like a nice person. I’ll go with that one!
I think it’s someone from Grey’s as well. Chyler Leigh, Kim Raver, or Jessica Capshaw.
i cant see Greys being one of the biggest tv series of all time.
Biggest network shows of all time is a pretty lofty title…to me that would be the caliber of MASH, Cheers, Seinfeld, Friends, etc… with exception of the L&O and CSI franchises, it’s hard-pressed to say anything currently has that panache. Maybe it’s an exaggeration…
I do like the Ellie Kemper guess if we consider The Office. Most of the newcomers to the CSI shows are C list for sure…
We are thinking similar. Unless the writer is exaggerating for effect, the only shows that fall under that select grouping of one of the biggest shows ever are NCIS, CSI or the L&Order people maybe Greys Anatomy. There is not many.
Amber Tamblyn
That’s who I was thinking of, the show being House.
That was my thought, as well. The blind is confusing as to whether the show is still on the air. If it IS, that’s my guess.
Hmmm. Since It says “who IS ON one of the biggest shows”, not “was on” I’m kinda leaning towards Heather Morris as well.
I can’t wait for this one to be solved, regardless of who it was. They’re a keeper
I love Glee but it is not one of the BIGGEST shows on tv EVER it barely brings in 11 to 12 million viewers a week which is nothing compared to the “in its prime” CSI or even current NCIS etc. Although Heather seems nice as a side note.
A latecomer to LOST perhaps? OR I like the Ellie Kemper guess.
Who played Juliet on LOST? Elizabeth Mitchell? She seems like a nice person, likely C-list.
i like this guess.
I can’t think of exactly which actress, but someone from E.R.
God love whoever this is!
Aisha Tyler, played Charlie(?) on Friends? She didnt come in until season 9 or 10.
i’ve tried submitting a comment 3 times !! What’s the problem? My guess is Vanessa Williams from Desperate Housewives
Kirstie Alley seems like she’d do something like that.
Marg Helgenberger.
A very kind gesture on the part of the actress. She deserves to be a “A” star instead of a “C-”.
Friends? “Rachel” turned up looking for Monica after her marriage to Barry ended??? (I’m not a huge friends fan, but think that was one of the biggest to end).
As good a time as any to say Merry Christmas BG and BGers!
I’m thinking that it’s Vanessa Williams from desperate housewives. I don’t
Know why she came to mind but I think she is nice enough to do that.
Is she c-list? Hmmmm….. That’s a lil’ harsh.
yeah I was thinking Vanessa Williams too, and you can definitely consider DH one of the biggest shows of all time OF ALL TIME!!! /Kanye mode off
Jennifer Lopez?
-latecomer on one of the biggest network television shows of all time, A.I.
-I would call her a C list actor, although an A- list star
-she’s a New York girl and wouldn’t be afraid to stop by the road for a single woman
…but would she be driving herself home from a shoot…I guess its unlikely.
biggest lol of the day. J.Lo? Seriously? hahahahaha
Mariska Hargitay? L&O has to fit that category. And she’s a latecomer-spinoff show. Anyway she seems like she’d be helpful & generous.
Do you know, until last night, I didn’t know that her mother was Jane Mansfield.
Ellie Kemper from the office
This blind reads like some positive PR spin from some celeb’s agent.
Is the in-thing now for PR agents to sneak in PR to CDAN pretending it is gossip?
Got to be someone from Desperate Housewives…not sure who
To continue, was Nicolette Sheridan on from the very, very beginning?
sorta yes, not the first episode but definitely first half of season one….so that wasn’t “late” if you compare that to Dana Delany (off of DH), the Sopranos girl (off of DH as well) or Vanessa Williams (just joined the cast)
NCIS – one of the biggest network television shows of all time
Cote de Pablo – (C-) list actress latecomer to the series.
NCIS in recent years its always number one in the ratings and Cote came to the series in the third season.
Love u BG! First time poster, long time reader.
Omarosa? I got nothin’.
What about Pauley Perrette from NCIS?
Chyler Leigh from Grey’s- based in Seattle where it rains constantly…he keeps stressing the rain thing.
Kirstie A from Cheers. Came after “Diane” left, so latecomer.
Chyler Leigh from Grey’s Anatomy. She has 3 kids including a baby, she is a latecomer to Grey’s and it’s one of the biggest network shows.
This should not be blind. Cheers to this actress who helped them.
Michelle Rodriguez from Lost? She came in late, the show has ended and was super popular, she’s been in a few things but nothing major recently that I know of.
What about Dancing with the Stars & Brooke Burke?
Considering the way cable has eaten into networks since the 90′s. Which show qualifies for one of the biggest shows of all time. Only one would be AI in my opinion.
The first name which came to my mind was Vanessa Williams, she joined Desperate Housewives recently and DH is a high profile show aswell…xx
