[BlindGossip] A well-known weight loss company wanted to hire this multi-hyphenate beauty. She was interested, but her manager ruined the deal by making ridiculous demands of the company. Of course, the manager requested the usual star treatment for his client. Beyond that, though, he absolutely refused to let the company meet or speak with the star before the first photo shoot. He also insisted that the company lie about her starting weight and Photoshop the “Before” photographs of the star so that she would appear less chubby than she actually was. The company refused and dropped her as a spokesperson before the campaign even began.

Remember when we were the first to tell you about Jessica Simpson’s pregnancy (She Will Be Making A Big Announcement Soon)? Well, there was even more drama around a potential weight-loss deal long before the baby was even born.
The story is exactly the way we told it two years ago. Jessica’s father, Joe Simspon, ruined her initial weight-loss deal with NutriSystem. His demands were ridiculous and the company balked.
As you now know, the singer/actress/fashion mogul wound up signing with Weight Watchers for $3 million. We don’t know if the conditions were the same, and whether or not those conditions were met. However, working with Jessica hasn’t exactly been easy for them, either!
Jessica didn’t lose the weight as quickly as everyone hoped. So Weight Watchers would up shooting a very odd commercial that only showed Jessica from the neck up.
She eventually did lose 60 pounds… and then immediately got pregnant again! Weight Watchers is not happy with their spokesperson.

Thanks to gaining exactly 876 pounds before and after her pregnancy, Weight Watchers was forced to shoot Jessica Simpson‘s first commercial from the waist up as part of her $3 million deal which will now be referred to as the stupidest fucking bet in the history of ever. Because just as she was starting to lose weight, Eric Johnson’s unprotected penis ejaculated into her ovulating lady business rocketing her back into the warm, fuzzy embrace of eating M&Ms and mac & cheese until her foot falls off. Us Magazine reports:
“They’re furious at Jessica,” says the source of the star, who has a $4 million deal to shed to the pounds.
The source adds, “She was already on thin ice with them since she didn’t lose enough for a the first ad, when they had to shoot from the waist up.”
As a result, Simpson’s second campaign — celebrating a 70-pound loss — may not air. “They don’t think it can run,” the source explains. “No one wants to hear about a pregnant woman dieting.”

I can think of no one other than Jessica Simpson for this guess. She’s a singer-actress-clothing designer-tv show host-etc etc whose weight gain always makes news. She’s always insisting she’s a size 4 even though she looks heavier than that in pictures. I saw a new picture of her right before clicking on this BI and noted her slight double-chin and how heavy she looks now. I’d say she’s probably a size 9 but if she wants to keep saying she’s a size 4 then I’m going to start telling people I’m Queen of the Bermuda Triangle!
good call on jessica simpson. im personally convinced that shes pregnant right now. shes been slowly gaining weight the past couple of weeks/months. usually when pics of her looking a little chunkier show up in the press, she diets, and gets skinny again. but im also the dummy who’s first reaction to multi-hyphenated was to think that it was someone with more than one hyphen in her name. long day…
Don’t think she’s pregnant — she always seems to gain some weight when she has a boyfriend. She let’s her guard down and the weight comes on. Only natural to gain a few when you are happy and eating lots of meals with a Football guy.
When I broke up with my ex, I lost all the weight I gained during our relationship in a week. People would say, man you lost weight. I said, yeah, 200 lbs of him and 15 of my own.

Doxie- thats a little rude and passive aggressive don’t you think? I think in any language multi hyphenate means many names and multi talented means many talents or occupations. It does say multi hyphenate beauty.. A model ( beauty spokesperson) with a more than one first or last name? Maybe you should try seeing from another perspective before making some one else feel bad for the way they understood the blind.

This is who I thought of immediately; it seems to be speaking in the past tense and wasn’t it only a year or two ago that those bikini pics were posted?
I feel like “campaign” is the big clue. I googled “election” and “west wing” on IMDB, them being the only campaign related things I could think of. I also thought of John McCain’s daughter, but she’s not a hyphenate to the best of my knowledge.
I don’t think campaign is a clue here. I think BG is just referring to an ‘ad campaign’.
Kimora Lee Simmons & Sarah Michelle Gellar being other hyphenates. Kimora needed to lose a little weight (by Hollywood standards) and SMG had a baby, so maybe baby weight?
SMG didn’t gain much though from being pregnant last year and her body bounced right back shortly afterwards. Plus, she’s more known for always being ultra-thin as well (never chubby). People comment on it all the time. If she lost any more weight, she’d be practically anorexic.
SMG has never been really multihyphenated (Michelle is her middle name after all), and she legally changed her surname anyway.
I was thinking Kimora too…she definitely has a multi-hyphenate last name…and she’s a model-tvshow-designer person too…She’s definitely looking chunkier than she used to, but babies have a tendency to do that.

Plus the Knowles have a well-documented history of lying, which fits the clue about the manager wanting the company to lie.

Absolutely Jessica Simpson. I can imagine several diet companies would love to get their hands on her. It’s actually not a bad idea because she looks pretty great now and doesn’t have to lose a whole lot to be pretty slim.

I have a friend in the industry and she says it is not uncommon for actresses to have all the size labels removed from their clothing, especially their film wardrobe, and/or to have smaller size labels sewn in. Weight and size is a very touchy subject. I agree that she is far from a size 4. She’s probably only a size 10 or 12, but in the land of size 0, that’s considered a porker.

A lot of the women in these guesses are only 15-20 lbs. overweight. Would a weight loss company really invest in someone who is just slightly overweight? I know it’s Hollywood and anything over a size six is “fat” to them. Maybe it’s Monique (actress, talk show host), Roseanne or Kristie Alley (even though she did one before). At least they are actually fat.
