BlindGossip – The head of this television show is looking for someone to take over their role within the next couple of years. Ironically, their top choice is a female cast member who receives a lot of criticism from the other talent. If she does take over it will be amusing to watch the rest of the group go from criticizing her to stepping all over each other to suck up to her.

I what universe would Elisabeth H be qualified to head anything? She’s not even qualified for the job she has now. I think everyone would just quit if they put that b* in charge. You kiss up to Barbara Walters because she’s an icon, legend, and extremely powerful. What could anyone stand to gain from kissing up to E.H. except access to some nonsensical, poorly-informed advice spread on a thin slice of gluten-free bread?
Because everyone else on that show is clearly Mensa material, right?
Wow, you really dislike E Hassleback. Her politics I presume as well. I always wanted to know how B Walters got her job….she’s annoying, self serving and has no talent. I would say the combined talent and insight of the women on the View is equal to watching monkeys ride unicycles. Except for Whoopi….don’t always agree with her but she’s level headed and bright.

Yeah, the first show I thought of. But why in the world would she pick Elizabeth to take over? There’s frequently noticeable tension between Barbara and Elizabeth, not to mention the annoyance she inspires in the other panel members.
THE VIEW was my first choice.

The Office- Steve Carell because this is his last season, and I’m not sure about the female. Maybe Mindy Kaling?
I was thinking that too but then, couple of years… I think he’s leaving after this season, no? And we’ve been readied for the possibility of having Mindy attempt at being management. Should be interesting.

Eh, I don’t know. From all accounts everyone on that set adores Jane Lynch (and who wouldn’t really? She’s made of awesome!) I can’t see this being her. If it’s anyone from Glee it’s Lea Michele that they all hate. However, I can’t see Ryan Murphy stepping down and putting her “in charge”. What does that mean anyway? Writing? Directing? Nah, I don’t think this one is Glee at all. The View is probably a better guess.
I don’t watch the show…but Jane Lynch being promoted to “head” of the school would make for great storylines!

My first thought was THE VIEW & Hasslebeck. However, Whoopi is moderator, while Barbara is exec producer. I don’t get what producing experience Hasslebeck has???? So maybe Whoopi is leaving?
if this was glee, wouldnt the head of the show be ryan murphy? that jane lynch guess sounds way off. why would ryan murphy hand off his entire creative endeavor to a comedic actress?
I’m really not qualified to take a stab at it because I don’t watch the show. But I’ve seen enough talk on the internet, and enough commercials to want to play…I think it’s the gym teacher on Glee, (megaphone) who will move up into the principal’s seat, and one of the students (who has to leave HS eventually) into the gym teacher role.
I like the guesses about the View! (Well… I don’t like them. But I think they are probably right.) Hasselbeck, blah.
If Elizab* takes over, ABC will plummet for their daytime programming. F* her!
If the pic has any relevance, it is probably Barbara and Elizabeth…given that Elizabeth YELLS instead of talks. Maybe Barbara and Elizabeth have grown close over the years but I can’t picture whatever is being talked about actually happening.
Barbara Walters is the only one who is way overdue for retirement.

Oh, and Whoopi is the only one who doesn’t suck up to Barbara. And Barbara glares at Whoopi.
She does love to show her power. She takes over if there’s someone famous to interview, and acts like she’s their best friend.
Whoopi is too independent for her. She wants Whoopi to submit to her so the public will know who is the boss!
She doesn’t seem to realize that Whoopi came from the humblest of beginnings and she has the raw talent to keep on working at her profession.
Elizabeth does suck up to Barbara. And Barbara can handle that.
It’s Barbara Walters and Joy Behar. Joy is the only host who has been on since the beginning and is very in-tune with Barbara personally and politically. The ass-kissing will be coming from Sherri Shepperd and Elizab*.
