Downfront2 – The Television personality is finding it hard to return to TV. He’s good at what he does, but according to opinion polls he is not well liked. What’s the problem? Maybe it’s because he cheated on his then wife and regularly made fun of his morning show colleagues. He is being rumored to be the host of a new daytime show.
Yay! I get to be first! Whether I am ever right is another matter. Anyways, I say Matt Lauer. Dirty dog well know as cheater and doesn’t get along with other colleagues.

Bryant Gumbel or Tiki Barber, but Tiki is not exactly “good at what he does” as NBC thought his segments were boring and not adding any value to the show according to what I read.
Matt Lauer and Bryant Gumbel became the best of mates when they worked on “Today” together years ago….two of the same kind

Bryant Gumbel isn’t liked but he came back from cancer so I think people would bite their tongues on the other hand Tiki Barber cheated on his wife while pregnant I don’t think that invites a successful talk show career.
This is Tiki Barber. This isn’t even a blind item. Everyone knows he tried to return to FOX and they didn’t want him back. He cheated on his wife, was fired from the Today Show, then wanted to come back to FOX. Solved, BG!

Wanting to come back somewhere is not the same thing as being rumored to be hosting a morning show. I do not remember him every saying anything bad about anyone he worked with other than his former team after he retired. What show is he rumored to be hosting? The only thing that fits is that he cheated on his wife. Bryant Gumble makes a lot more sense. He has long been considered a pompous ass.
Has Bryant come back from CA? I haven’t heard anything about successful tx. or remission. Matt’s probably chomping on the bit to get more bucks. You’ve come a long way baby since your days of looking for work as a house painter.

Plus wanted to add that Bryant Gumbel had issues with Willard Scott and had to apologize. Supposedly Katie Couric did not like him at all.

I think Bryant is less liked than Tiki and not just because of the cheating scandle. Bryant is very arrogant and condescending, whereas Tiki is more affable.
