BuzzFoto – It sounds like a cliche, but this foreign born actor over 30 was booted from Catholic school as a boy for setting fire in the library after trying to light a joint. He has since donated a substantial amount of money to the school since he’s made his money. That isn’t too much of a secret. What is more hush-hush is that he claims he lost his V card and his heart to a young nun at the school. 378

378?
Oh, and I guess Mel Gibson.
Can’t be Mel he is not foreign born.
Funny, I didn’t know Australia wasn’t foreign
Mel was born in NY State. Moved to Oz when he was a kid.
Mel was born in New York. It’s funny when people don’t check their facts.
Mel was born in New York. Even though he grew up in Australia, he is technically not foreign-born.
Ha Ha! Nart…..Thank you Mardeebum & Aquaboogy
Whoooooops!
nothing to do with clue – the # is the buzzfoto’s tag.
Antonio Banderas
this has been covered in the past – the numbers are just blind item numbers and they have nothing to do with a clue or the answer. Just disregard.
It’s Gabriel Byrne. He was expelled at 16 from Catholic School after being caught smoking.
second.
GB is cool. I was going to guess the other GB – Gerard Butler.
I also remember reading that he was abused by a priest. I guess all his early sexual experiences were with the clergy.
Byrne is 60. I’m wondering why BF would use “over 30″ when he’s 61? It seems like they should have said “over 50″ or something else.
throw us off the scent.
antonio banderas?
Nah, don’t think so, back when he was a kid all schools were ran by religious people so all schools were the same, they all taught religion, and neither there were a lot of drugs in Spain, pretty impossible that kids were taking drugs back then.
Then also if he had set fire to the library and had been caught, he pretty much would have been sent to the Sahara desert with the army or to jail.
My first thought was Colin Farrell but I like the Gabriel Byrne guess too!
Colin Farrell isn’t a bad guess. Jonathan Rhys Meyers was expelled from school too. But, euwwwwww about the nun – how old was she?!
Here it is: Rhys Meyers was expelled from the North Monastery Secondary School at age 16 for truancy and spent much of his time hanging out in pool halls. That’s a Catholic school – will have been run by the clergy surely. Also, who gets expelled for truancy – it was the 90s – sounds like a PR spun story to me to cover up a drugs expulsion.
I thought it might be ASkars. He’s 34 & foreign born. I keep trying to find info about HS, but Wiki & IMDB only have his college experience.
Askars is swedish=atheist/protestant. Theres no way his been in a catholic school
Do you know that for fact, or are you just assuming that because he’s Swedish?
heh – considering Askars is one of 7 kids! – his papa Stellen might be Catholic. (but I really don’t know…)
Papa Stellan is an atheist and pretty outspoken about it. I doubt he would put his kids in a religious school.
There are no Catholic Swedes? And I thought Catholics had infiltrated all nations.
I am Swedish, and most of us aren’t even religious in the first place, let alone catholics. Also, we are protestants.
I also have a very hard time believing that Stellan would put his kids in a catolic school.. Religious private schools in Sweden are very controversial, and I doubt he’d put his kids in a school like that unless he had a strong conviction to do so (or the kid did, granted).
Lastly, no offence to the inital guesser here, but there is nothing to suggest that this would be Alexander. “30+ and foreign born” could be A LOT of people.
What do the numbers that appear at the end of some of the blinds mean???????
Someone has answered this at the top – am too lazy to repeat it.
Definitely Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Was expelled from school at 16 years old and is currently in his early 30s. Seems to fit nicely.
First thought: Hugh Grant
Javier Bardem?
Russell Crowe
It’s not Gabriel Byrne. Gabriel was at seminary school, (no nuns) and recently admitted that he was sexually abused by one of his teachers.
I think Jonathan Rhys Meyers fits the description really well BUT he would have been educated by Christian Brothers, not nuns – as would any male who went to an Irish catholic school (girls taught by nuns, boys by brothers).
Heeey! First post, yeay! Not Gabriel Byrne, not JRM, for the reason that Irish boys are educated by Brothers/Priests, Irish girls by Nuns. Also not to generalise, but by the time JRM was in school (fifteen years ago, 90′s) attractive young nuns would have been VERY thin on the ground. His school is called North Monastary, which would indicate monks, no nuns. Definitely not Colin Farrell, was educated by priests too.
Nathan Fillion? Foreign born, went to Catholic school and I can see him being a stoner way back when.
