Which famous black male celebrity is not happy about a Barack Obama presidency? He rented a penthouse and invited an assortment of industry people, all white, to watch the presidential election results with him. During the party, they were surprised to hear him say, “I hope McCain wins because he’s more intellectually fit to run this country. A black man would run it into the ground.” As the evening progressed, he became more and more agitated as state-by-state results showed Obama pulling ahead. When Obama was declared the winner, he angrily ordered everyone to get out.

How on earth did you manage to get to that answer? I do not think it is Samuel L. Jackson as he has publicly endorsed Barack Obama. Denzel Washington has contributed with money to Obama’s campaign, so I doubt that it is him.

Is it a crime to be black and not vote for Barack Obama? Ethnic groups always do particularly well amongst their own ethnicities, but no one garners a 100% approval. Even in 1995 20% of African-Americans thought O.J. was guilty. I have problems with this statement: ‘I hope McCain wins because he’s more intellectually fit to run this country. A black man would run it into the ground.’ because a) I don’t understand ‘McCain’ and ‘intellectually’ in the same sentence and b) there’s no way to justify saying someone would run the country into the ground based on their skin colour.
But I fully maintain people should vote for who they want to, and policies, strength of character and intelligence matter far more than whether the candidate has the same skin colour as you.

Well, you have a point. But I still feel it is more likely that someone who hasn’t supported Obama openly would find himself in a situation like this. Or perhaps I’m mistaken, it’s hard to say as I’m just guessing. But judging from the quote about how “a black man would run the country into the ground” (talking about a race as a whole as opposed to talking about the particular candidate in question), I’d say the person isn’t very much in contact with his identity. This pretty much rules out any man who hasn’t got problem with being who he is (and Samuel L. Jackson doesn’t strike me as someone who’s ashamed of his roots).

I agree with the other posters claiming it to be Tiger Woods. I believe it would be a person who would be out of touch with his black roots and despite Tiger being 25% Black and Obama being 50% Black (mariah and A keys as well)sometimes in this country we go by looks. Look how the blind item was placed, “Black person with a room full of white men.” Don’t believe it to be Denzel W or Sam J. Sounds as if the person is also threatned of Obama I believe it is Woods.
