The way I read this, there is only one famous parent? That eliminated my Kate Hudson or Gwyneth Paltrow guesses.
i think it’s just that there’s only one BAD parent, not necessarily only one who’s famous.
Agreed and Kate and Gwyneth both gush about their parents so don’t think they are a right fit.

Any is there really anything they could say about Ryan at this point that would be “scandalous” or “shocking.” As you said, he’s notorious.

I really thought Tori Spelling when I read this. She has been on the outs with her mom (off and on) since her dad was dying.
Not that your guess is wrong, it could totally be her, but Tori and Candy have both spoken recently about them reconciling and having a great relationship now.
Besides, I think Tori wants the rest of dad’s money. Doing this would surely nix that.

Tatum O’Neal’s cute little attempt at a memoir was already pretty scathing to Ryan, and with his current issues with all of his sons, I don’ think anyone would really be shocked to hear he was a less than stellar dad.

No idea. All I can add is it appears the famous parent in this seems to have an (unauthorised presumably) autobiography on it’s way about them, which doesn’t appear to be affecting a partner of theirs, and our celeb is spilling the beans for their own reasons.
My initial thought was it’s a Jackson, but both the parents were on the scene there which doesn’t appear to be the case in the blind with all the references to “parent” as opposed to “parents”.

Both Jolie and her brother adore (idolize) thier mother, they have a strangely close relationship with each other and both hate the father.
