NYPost – Which Palm Beach faux-cialite has more money than class and a very busy schedule? When a close friend passed away earlier this month, the funeral conflicted with a luncheon canasta game she was hosting, so she called the grieving family (on the day her friend lost a long battle with cancer) and asked that they reschedule the funeral so she could have her card game and pay respects to her friend, whom she “loved dearly.” When the family declined to reschedule the funeral, the socialite did not attend. Her canasta game went on as planned.

ummm Satan?!?!
WOW……
I agree.
well according to wiki, here are a list of Palm Beach residents.

so with that being said, I vote Ivana Trump.
She was recently in the news for screaming at some kids on a flight. I quote Dlisted.com:
The Orlando Sentinel reports that Ivana Trump, who was seated in first class, went off at some children for running through the aisles while they were waiting to depart from Palm Beach, FL
your idea seems good
SOLVED.
uh satan is a good guess
Ivana Trump?
Isn’t Rachel Uchitel holed up in Palm Beach lately? And banking from Tiger tales?
Why is Ivana a “faux-cialite” because she married into the lifestyle?
She asked to reschedule a funeral so she could have her card game??!
I think I’ve heard it all now. F@cking hell.
Ivana seems about right, I guess.
Roxanne Pulitzer??
I like the Ivana guess..this was reported by the NY Post, which means the person also lives there, and it sounds like an older woman. After Ivana was escorted off the plane for hurling profanities at kids running on the plane and then the officers who responded..well, anything is possible with her.. “Not now, Carlo” LOL
I’m voting Ivana.
what a *.
Ivana Trump, LOL!
What about one of those housewife people? I don’t really watch the show, but I did see something about one of them hosting a card game party. Plus, they’re totally useless and seem like they’d do something like this.
Ivana Trump. I think those enormous inner-tube size lips she had blown up are cutting off oxygen to parts of her brain!
IMO Ivana Trump has been a real socialite for some time, both in NYC and Palm Beach. This sounds like someone from one of those Real Housewife shows trying to act like a socialite.Whomever this person is, though, she sounds like a faux-friend more than a faux-socialite.
well, Vicki Gunvalson of The Real Housewives of Orange County often travels to Palm Beach as well, I’ve seen her around.
She could fit under the Real Housewife wanna be socialite umbrella. Just a thought.
Candi Spelling, this sounds just like her…cold hearted
Ivana “Trump card” Trump
Ann Coulter. Oops sorry, I just noticed that somebody already guessed Satan. LOL.
Ann Coulter.
ITA Ivana has been a well-established socialite on the scene for ever now. This has got to be one of those tacky Housewives, I say the NY one that claimes she’s a countess. Luanna, Louella, something like that.
How about Nancy Brinker since she “is the founder and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, an organization named after her only sister, Susan, who died from breast cancer in 1980 at age 36.” That would make the BI even more superficial and cold-hearted.
“She is currently serving as the World Health Organization’s Goodwill Ambassador for Cancer Control.[4]“
Something about this blind seems weird to me. Do people actually set the date for the funeral on the day someone dies? Whenever someone around here dies, it takes at least a few days to make arragnements, and besides, everyone is too busy grieving to worry about calling around setting up dates. Are they just that more organized in Palm Beach?
When my father’s death from cancer became a certainty, we brought him from the hospital so he could die at home. It was only a day. His funeral was pre-planned and pre-payed and the mortuary people were at our house within 2 hours of his death to confirm the details and family and friends were informed immediately. When death is imminent, things can move very quickly.
as far as I know, Jewish people (and possibly other faiths) do not usually embalm the body and therefore need to have their funerals very quickly, so the funeral could have been planned the day of death out of necessity.
I’ll guess Ivana since the coincidence of (i) a ‘friend’ dying; and (ii) playing a completely demode card game that hardly anyone plays, point to an elderly person, in my opinion.
Good Grief!
