BuzzFoto – This Celebrity A/B list Dad, who is very loving and by all accounts a great father, has been dealing with a wayward child. The child, who has cost his family lots of time, money and energy because of his antics is now knee-deep into drugs. Along with that comes some very bad connections that can be very harmful and dangerous. Our celeb father has tried countless times to help his son, and after several interventions and other attempts, has never given up. We just heard from a source that this son just robbed his dad and took a large amount of money as well as priceless items to feed his addiction and to pay off some of these bad people. We will not be revealing this one because it is such a hard and private matter and we believe the dad has acted like any loving father would. We just thought it was an interesting story to share and maybe more commonplace than everyone would like to think. Not Tom Hanks.

Awful position to be in. Wonder how old the son is? Hopefully this is a tough phase and they all get through it.
Would love a reveal to be honest, we need the decent fathers of Hollywood to be given some credit because all the bad fathers we’ve all come to know seem to give them all a bad name.

I think this is Sean Penn and his son. I saw a picture of his son with a bruise on his nose. People were wondering what happened to him. Then he was arrested for drugs. They said the drugs were prescribed but that could be part of a cover-up.
Good guess it’s a obvious choice since he was arrested on prescription drugs

Sean Penn is not a good dad. He has been catting around for years, spent weeks and months away from the family, flaunted his girlfriends in public and then congratulated himself on things like taking his kids trick or treating years back.
I know a lot of Lefties out here consider him a hero for befriending meglamaniac dictators like Chavez, Castro and Ahmedinajad, but he is not a good person (abusive to Madonna and Robin; neglectful to kids; adulterous; coddling murderers).
That said, drug addiction is a horror and i would not wish it on anyone.

Agreed. If it was a private matter, and BuzzFoto actually respected the father’s privacy (and his great parenting skills), they would have never posted it in the first place.

So, who could it be? Sean Penn sounds plausible. It could also be someone whose story hasn’t been in the papers (yet) as well. In which case I haven’t the foggiest.

I don’t know who this BI’s about, but people can be jerks to their spouses, friends and colleagues and still be loving and awesome parents.

It’s got to be either Sean Penn or Michael Douglas. I remember one of those ‘news’ programs did a story about Michael Doglas’ son skipping rent on an apartment and they found drug paraphenalia all over it.

I think it’s somebody less obvious than these two. I have a hard time believing that Sean Penn is a fabulous “hands on” dad. He certainly hasn’t lead by example. And Cameron Douglas has been in jail for months. He hasn’t been able to steal and, at this point, I think he’s probably beyond help. Keep thinking!!

I don’t think this can be Sean Penn. His son is too young to have had several interventions, and to be paying off “bad people”. I think it has to be an older son, so the Michael Douglas guess is possible. The only issue is that I have never heard anything, good or bad, about Douglas’ parenting. Perhaps it’s Nicolas Cage and his son Weston.

Yeah, but I remember seeing Penn and his son on Bam Margera’s MTV show a few years ago, and it’s well-known that Bam and his friends take/took mountains of drugs. Penn looked like a nice dad, but he was also standing by while his son helped Bam trash somebody’s (Johnny Knoxville’s?) car. I remember this because at the time I thought the Penn kid looked a little young for this kind of thing.
I remember this episode as well and remember that he was encouraging his son to do a lot of the dirty work with the car and just having him around those people means he probably isnt the most caring dad. I think the son was about 12 in that episode.

Tots Michael Douglas. He tries. His son needs to want to clean up his act, and just isn’t acting like he wants to clean up. Closer to rock bottom. Hope they can come out of this stronger as a family.

Ryan O’Neal is, from all what I’ve heard and read, the most awful person and most likely father there is. I suppose not just doing drugs together with your son, but hooking him up in first place does prove my point…
I rule for Michael, pun intended. Cameron is known for having drug issues in the past and besides being some sort of DJ once in a while, he never really acclomplished anything except for getting in trouble all his life long. So I definitely think it is MD and his son. And I did hear long time ago, I am pretty sure, that Michael does everything possible to remove him from those ppl and this vicious circle of drugs and crimes. Those stories occur any other year, like in a side note.

I don’t think is Sean Penn and son, cause i wouldn’t consider Sean Penn a A/B list dad. Sean Penn won 2 oscar as actor and had more nominations for very important awards. More, is an estimated director.How could he be a A/B?

Didn’t Michael Douglas’ son just get busted trying to distribute a massive amount of meth? He is probably still in jail awaiting trial but he surely would be drug tested on a regular basis if he did get bail.
found out not too long ago that my father had been a functional addict for 40 years…has kept the SAME well paying job the entire time. I only worked to keep his home car and drug addiction alive. Glad you guys posted this because many are going through this. It’s so unbelievably hard to deal with. Drugs can get a strong grip on your soul…Even though it’s hard to say…I’ll keep them in my prayers.

This is not Michael Douglas. His and his son’s problems with drugs and alcohol are very, very well-known, including very public brushes with the law and rehab stints. In fact, Cameron is currently in jail awaiting trial for meth distribution, and he is likely going to spend time in prison. It’s very sad, but it is not a blind by any stretch. Sean Penn could hardly be described as loving (sadly, same goes for MD / CZJ w/ Cameron; and his mother is a b*tch, too). It’s not Sean, either. I think you’ve nailed it Howie on the Pierce guess. Pierce is, BY ALL ACCOUNTS, an incredibly devoted and loving man. He adopted his first wife’s children and was utterly heart-broken when she died of cancer, but he remained their loving father. He stayed single for many, many years and finally remarried and remains faithful to his wife, despite her having horrible weight problems. They have two sons. His bio-son with Cassandra, though, has struggled for a long time. He was in a horrible, horrible accident several years ago, where his car plunged into a ravine, and I am pretty sure alcohol was a factor (but he was not the driver). The family has tried to keep this private and dignified, but they have suffered for a long time with it. Hope it all gets better for everyone. They are good people.

Gee Missy, Pierce must be quite a guy for staying with the woman he married, who bore him two sons, and enduring her “horrible weight problems”. He’s either quite a guy or has some depth and cares more about her than a few extra pounds. She is actually a very attractive woman. Perhaps she, and he, doesn’t consider her weight “horrible” at all.

yes, but Rod could not even be bothered to show up for family day. Rod is not a loving father. Rather, indulgent and neglectful and probably a good part of Sean’s problems.
Saw an segment somewhere with his daughter. She said that he would always pay the bills, they could have whatever they wanted, she lived in the guest house on one of his properties, the main house was also open. She didn’t remember the last time she had actually seen him (dad)or talked to him. “but the place is always stocked”

Yeah, I agree too that it’s Pierce (which is too bad), but I wish I could pick out the Tom Hanks connection. If there isn’t one, then this just confirms my theory that the “it’s not…” isn’t always a clue. It just eliminates the most obvious guess. Tom and Colin would have been my first guess.
I like the Michael Douglas guess…except there was a story within the last few months about him being arrested and the family refusing to put up the bail which I think was several millions of dollars. The comments that MD made were to the effect that jail was the best place for him considering the state his life was in. Sadly this probably could be about alot of celebrities children…they think they can get away with anything, or mom/dad will ‘take care of it’. I hope they get the help they need.

Pierce Brosnan has done everything humanly possible to help him, including tough love, but the guy won’t help himself. Well, the blind tend to assume that this is not public knowledge, which would definitely rule out Pierce, Michael Douglas, Redmond O’Neal and Sean Stewart. My first thought was John Ritter’s son, but of course, John passed away. The blind really reminds me of Carrol O’Conner’s son who dies and how hard his father fought it and how much he suffered. I guess I like the Kevin Bacon guess, but feel guilty even guessing on this one.
