BuzzFoto – This TV actor has been out of work for some time now, occasionally picking up spots here or there. (You might have even seen him in a commercial or two). He recently had a huge movie deal offer where he could play the supporting role of a very big name, but he turned it down because he felt it was beneath him. Not John Lehr.
idiot
totally agreed with you! i don’t know h who he’s but he’s TOO STUPID!!!
He is not stupid if he has a good savings plan. These actors make so much money, they only have to do a few things and they are set for life if they manage it right. Calling Mr. Cage!
Some of them have quite a nose for investments in South American exports (which has its highs and lows), and it’s all too easy for them to blow it all if they’re not careful. They only have to be a little bit flaky and POOF! it’s all gone.
LOL! That’s pretty witty!
but this blind item saying he needs work so maybe his finances are not too .good
and all the rappers as well
either that or he has principals to live by. kudos.
the mac guy … justin something
he was in he’s just not that into you last year….and I think he just filmed a movie with drew barrymore
Quentin Tarantino likes to find old has-beens and put them in his movies. Remember Travolta and David Carradine were no where before being cast in his movies. I think there will be a “Kill Bill 3″ in the future but Carradine is dead so they need a replacement. Maybe a Carradine brother or Stacey Keach. I haven’t heard Stacey Keach’s name in a long time.
Carradine’s character was killed off in Kill Bill 2 so I doubt they are looking for a replacement unless its flashbacks. I do like your guess of Stacy Keach though, he has done very obscure things but was he in a commercial? I don’t know.
Apparently David Carradine was really upset that Kill Bill didn’t resurrect his career. He thought the high profile role in a big commercial and artistic success would lead to other A list offers. Unfortunately he immediately fell back to direct to video oblivion. RIP.
I know that there are a lot of pimps in Thailand who would agree with you. He was such a sweetheart…you know, with the underaged girls in Thailand he put through h e l l.
I love you people who worship celebs and ignore their bad traits. You ever meet one? Please.
I would like to make a guess…Brad Garrett? He’s in the 7 UP commercials and I have heard that he’s kind of stuck up.
I like this guess. He’s about 10 feet tall so the ‘beneath him’ bit could have a double meaning.
Mr. Brad You-Betcha-I’m-A-Racist Garrett was my first guess, too; but I couldn’t find out if his TV series Til Death was cancelled or not.
I find it very interesting that taking second billing in a film is beneath him and being a huckster isn’t.
If this is, in fact, him, it’s just more convincing evidence that his elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top.
I believe it good be Brad Garrett. He thinks he’s hot sh!t and made huge salary demands on Raymond when he should have just been grateful. Didn’t know he was a racist, though. What’s that all about?
ed bagley jr.
Don’t you watch Living with Ed? He has his own show. I’m forced to watch it and love his wife’s attitude on his green living.
He’s also on the sitcom Gary Unmarried, so he’s been working.
john lithgow-
those hideous soup commercials
has quite an ego
He is on Dexter this season so not out of work.
whoops!
The more I think about it though I’m not sure – it says he picks up work here and there and his role definitely won’t last beyond the season. You could be onto something afterall.
John Lithgow > John Lehr. I think Lithgow’s earned the right to be choosy!
John Lithgow came from the New York stage and I believe he has been headlining Broadway shows there for the last year or so (i.e. revival of Arthur etc.). So he’s working all the time but without the national visibility of films or TV.
Matthew Perry – didn’t he do those Mr. Opportunity animated commercials?
No that was Ron Paulson.
This isn’t a huge movie deal but I read somewhere that Matthew Perry turned down on offer to play Courtney Cox’s boyfriend on her Cougar tv show. He felt it was too Monica & Chandler-y.
Pretty sure Matthew Perry is developing a sitcom with ABC where he’s the lead. So, not him.
David Schwimmer and Inglorious Basterds
Schwimmers livin it up in England, saw an interview on wossy an he was sayin he’s working over there now
I think Schwimmer is the best guess by far, but dunno the project. Simon Pegg turned down a role in IB, but he’s doing fine I think
Jason Alexander of course.
Really random guess, but when I saw the name John Lehr, I thought of the guy from Roswell, Brendan Fehr.
Fairly soon, Skid Row will literally be beneath him (his feet that is).
Ashton Kutcher?
Clues: “picking up spots”–He’s on those nikon cool “picks” commercials.
He’s also tall–”beneath him”
That caveman picture looks like one his usual poses.
I really liked this guess but it says “TV” star and I think AK is just as well know now for his movies and tv.
hmmm. this sounds close if not spot on.
I like your Guess
I think its funny they thought a big movie role was beneath them but yet do commercials.
Christopher B. Duncan
aka, braxton from the jamie foxx show?
Freddie Prinze Jr?
Ben Wilson or Jim Rose
ed beagley i have seen him in a tv commercial recently
Michael Richards?
William Shatner. He turned down a cameo role in the latest Star Trek movie because he wanted a bigger part instead.
would be a really good guess but the 2nd season of his talk show – raw nerve – starts up soon, and…depends on who you ask about the ST movie thing.
What about Dana Carvey? He was on SNL and now he is on an iPhone or some touch screen phone commercial along with Chevy Chase.
Dennis Haysbert? He has been on TV and does the allstate insurance commercials.
just to add to my earlier comment for Dennis Haysbert. The cavemen are characters in commercials for another auto insurance company
Good catch! Isn’t he on that show The Unit though? Is that still on tv or was it cancelled?
It was cancelled last year – not long enough to be considered out of work for “some time”, I don’t think. He has had so many supporting roles, can’t see it being him. Hope not.
Chuck Deezy
Mr T
What about Matt LeBlanc? He hasn’t appeared in a TV show since Joey in 2004. He’s been in a Classic Coke commercial and a Heinz Ketchup commercial way back when. John Lehr was in an episode of friends. Also, those cavemen commercials started playing in 2004 right?
I like the Garrett guess, with his racist ass. Haysbert is a good guess as well with the caveman clue for the auto insurance commercial. I’m leaning more towards Garrett, though. He does resemble a caveman!
Chad Michael Murray?
I’d go with CMM!
